What's that supposed to mean? I apologized because I was out of line and Vanhalen accepted so it's a done deal.
-
Didn't mean to be so harsh, I was just messing around...give me a break, I just came home a little drunk. Neway, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I just meant you should have said Sky Sports in the topic, because it is misleading to US members of this board.
-
Way to mislead, I thought you were talking about the US. No one gives a fuck.
-
Not really. It's a classic for its time, but right now it just lives off of its name.

Does anyone know any good file sharing programs that actually work and have no pop-ups? Kazaa simply doesn't work that well for me anymore because I can never seem to get the damn song to download, not to mention it slows down my whole computer and has damn pop-ups. I can't find a download for Kazaa-Lite anymore, unless anyone here can send me it. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks everybody.

The Village didn't work because there was too much talking and everything was drawn out. And I wouldn't have minded all the talking if it built suspense about the "monsters." Instead, the movie started turning into a love story. None of it worked. Not to mention, the twist was revealed way too early and was very underwhelming. I blame the writing and the editing for the piece of shit that was The Village.

Yeah I also agree. It was just a bad film and there's no way around it. And it is OK to like a bad film. A sold out movie theatre of 200 people all booing the film at its conclusion also back up my claim. It was just a terrible movie. And this is coming from a guy who liked The Sixth Sense, liked Signs, and sort of liked Unbreakable. M. Night was 3 for 3 but couldn't make it 4 for 4.

Damaramu, I'm just kidding with you buddy, please calm down. It just wasn't a good movie no matter how you look at it. I guarantee you word of mouth will cause it to have a huge drop off next weekend, because obviously it was gonna do good this weekend.
-
I got two words for ya Damaramu......magic rocks. That basically sums up the quality of the movie.
-
Yes, there is something wrong with you. It sucked ass.

The Village sucked a great deal of ass. It fucking blew. The whole theatre I saw it with booed the movie at the end. Everyone wanted their money back.

Jack Black to play Green Lantern?
WrestlingFan4Ever replied to Kahran Ramsus's topic in Television & Film
This will suck so so bad. I love Jack Black but he has no business playing a super hero. Shame on Warner Bros. The Green Lantern has a great story and to make a fucking comedy out of it starring JACK F'N BLACK as the lead is pretty pathetic. -
Robert De Niro

Wow, the DVD releases suck this week.

Best Movie Tournament Semi-Finals

Reservoir Dogs The Godfather Citizen Kane The Godfather Part II All of you who voted for Reservoir Dogs should be ashamed of yourselves. There's no way it should be in the top 4. It's a great movie, but it's a fucking travesty that it has made it this far. Pulp Fiction was better. -
Robert De Niro Al Pacino

Robert De Niro vs. Jack Nicholson Kevin Spacey vs. Clint Eastwood Al Pacino vs. Morgan Freeman Edward Norton vs. Marlon Brando Neway, I don't think Edward Norton should be on the list over people like Sean Penn and Johnny Depp (I love Norton, but he's not a better actor than either Penn or Depp). And Clint Eastwood shouldn't be on it either (hey, I love the guy, but he doesn't exactly have the range of many of the other greats). This list ain't the best.

Anchorman- The Legend of Ron Burgundy
WrestlingFan4Ever replied to DMann2003's topic in Television & Film
Great movie. Haven't laughed like this in awhile. The whole theatre was constantly laughing. And, just like Old School, this movie seems like it'll get even better upon multiple viewings. Good stuff and great to see the whole frat pack making cameos. -

Schwarzenegger is a bad example because was known as a bodybuilder before he started acting and is now a governor. Some people, when they think of him, think of a bodybuilder before actor.
-
Like I said earlier, Tom Cruise. And also Tom Hanks. Both have transcended movies to become pop culture icons. Becoming a film legend does not solely rely on just acting skills. It also relies on whether or not you, yourself, become a film icon. The reason Marlon Brando was a screen legend was because he was bigger than the movies that he was in. The same goes for Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks. Their movies are legendary and so are they as a result. There were many fine actors in the 50's, 60's, and 70's that were just as good as Brando, Nicholson, or Dean, but just never had the movies to back them up and thus, are forgotten.
-
Johnny Depp definately.
-
Tom Cruise will be a film legend. Don't laugh either...the man has had a great impact on culture through his films. Most of his films, such as Jerry Maguire, Risky Business, and Top Gun are already classics. And to those of you who say he can't act, go watch Magnolia.
