I haven't seen Y2Jerk since the Benoit situation. I don't think he frequents the board anymore.

The 1966 Batman was off the charts. I haven't laughed like that in days.

Wish they would release more seasons of this on DVD. Anything with Abe Vigoda is going to be great. Simply classic. The best storytelling for a cartoon ever.

Well, I bought the Blu-Ray Disc and I think the extras make it worth it. There was no Lantern figure though.

With the 41st pick in the draft, the Buffalo Bills select TE Fred Davis from USC. 6’5” Weight: 250 lbs The positives on Davis are as follows * Tough match-up in coverage – a weapon in the pass attack * Scary run-after-catch ability * Great hands – converted WR His negatives are that he is not a great blocker, and that I have heard that he measured at slightly less then 6'5 and 250. If that is the case we may need to use him like Cooley in Washington.

Gary Floyd, I could say thing about yours.

Sorry I forgot to mention "singles match" for you then. I seriously don't remember them wrestling in singles competition before WrestleMania. I am sure they did, but I have no recollection of it.

Has anyone watched Justice League: The New Frontier yet? I thought this was very well done, although their were some things changed it worked very well. Jeremy Sisto was great as Batmam, and Miguel Ferrer as Jon'n Jonz'z were great. I was very impressed with Brooke Shields voicing of Carol Ferris.

Someone on the previous page thought this thread deserved the Picard sigh. Well, we all know Marvin does.

Don't forget, this was also the first meeting between Benoit and Angle.

Vince, you are not the father!!

Batista-Umaga could be great or an absolute trainwreck.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

Let us know how that goes. -
Short term, it would be a financial boom if DC were to kill of Bruce Wayne. Long term (several years down the line) it would be a huge mistake. People would not be able to accept the idea of this not being the Batman they are most familiar with. I remember being 14 when AzBats took over the mantle and everyone that I talked to hated the new Batman. We all knew that Bruce would be back and that would be the hurdle that faces DC. Would DC being able to hold off on not bringing back Bruce Wayne as Bats, thus cheaping his possible death? I don't know if they could.

Total agreement on Booster Gold. I was little unsure of the title but I picked it up because of Johns. It is easily one of the most enjoyable books out there. The Superman books have been solid but not spectacular. I was disappointed in the fill-in stories breaking up the Johns-Donner run and Busiek's "Camelot Falls" story. The Camelot story started out very interesting but fell flat at the end. The Batman universe has been hit and miss with me. Morrison has disappointed me on his run, while I have beem enjoying Dini's run. It makes me feel like I am reading the old Batman Adventures book from when I was younger, and when I would watch Batman: TAS. The book that I am really enjoying is JSA. The book has been serious yet has had its humorus moments, i.e Starman. This and Green Lantern have been the books that I am most looking forward to reading every month, while I still pick up JLA, Salvation Run, Flash (hate the kids though).

He was slightly off on his estimation. -
How did you land the job that you have now?

Also, if you get sick easily, I recommend that you don't go into teaching. We have an influenza outbreak going on in my small town of 1200. Of the 120 students at the 7-12 HS, 25 are out sick with the flu. I swear it is like the movie Outbreak up here. -
Tim Duncan was also an NFL kicker for about 2 seasons recently.

I am in total agreement with Nightwing. Stark's protrayal in Captain America has been outstanding. In fact, I consider Captain Ameica to be the best book that Marvel is producing right now. I tip my hat at the outstanding work Brubaker has done.

First of all even ,though you have the BA in History does California require you to take educational courses before you teach? Do you have a foreign language background? Many states, certainly the ones in the south, require a foreign language background. For example, many states (such as the one I am employed with) require you to get your History degree in education before you can teach. My degree from college is a B.S degree is History Education with a minor in Political Science. If you are unsure of whether you want to teach or not ask yourself if you are able to tolerate kids being lazy, smartassed, correcting papers, over-reactive parents and low pay. If you can tolerate the previously mentioned ideas and enjoy the idea of having 3 months of vacation during the summer then education is a good career choice. You also asked how I got my job. Quite simply I went on the job service website for ND, sent of a couple of resumes to various schools, had one interview with a school and they hired me a couple of days later. If you have any other questions, ask away, I will try to respond to the best of my abilities. (which isn't saying much) -
The trouble is name me some current heavyweight boxers outside of Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, David Tua, Hasim Rahman, Oleg Maskaev, and Samuel Peter. Out of those "big" names only the Klitschko brothers and Peter-Maskaev would be considered a big money match. Look at the other weight classes. Light heavy-weight has Tarver, Hopkins, and Roy Jones Jr. The Welterweight has Floyd Mayweather, Cotto, Mosely, Hatton, De La Hoya. I would agrue that America has taken more of a shine to the Light heavy-weights and welterweights, especially judging the buy rates and coverage of the Hopkins-Tarver, Mayweather-De LaHoya and Mayweather-Hatton. I think once the Clemens- Pettitte, and spygate stories slow down this story will pick up and get more mainstream coverage. The media would soak up the idea of a 145 lb Mayweather being in the ring with the 400+ pound Big Show. This will get them some nice coverage.

I like the idea of the Vikes taking a defensive end. Nice pick right there, although if the amazing slide of Matt Ryan would have continued, he would have been a great selection. I liked the Zona pick as well. Rolle is reportedly moving to safety, and they need DB help. Another choice would have been taking either Mendenhall or Stewart. The last few picks made have been outstanding.

With the 11th pick in the draft the Buffalo Bills select Outside linebacker Keith Rivers from USC Although they have Paul Posluszny, they need someone to step up on the weakside. I think he fills the need very well. I thought about selecting a DT, but to much money and picks have been spent in this area.

I had no idea he was 75.
