I agree with you on the point of what Mallard is. Basically it makes fun of the idea of what is commonly believed and supported by democrats even though facts show that their ideas are outdated. However, Doonesbury does the same thing but on a more sneaky matter. It just happens that I am more conservative and like Mallard more. Nothing more, nothing less.

I see this gimmick possibly working. You will have the fans not liking him at first for cheating and conning people. Soon some fans (smarks) will start to cheer for the guy and he will go from a heel to a tweener. It will end up like Eddie Guerrero a few years back with the cheating, but it won't be as successful. I think this gimmick could have a chance as I think Coach and Lawler could get him over. Yes I said Lawler could help get him over and no I am not drunk or high.

Yeah, I dumped Masters this week as well. I figure with the major focus being the diva search and HBK-Hogan he won't get on TV. With Smackdown having a PPV this week my lineup is Smackdown heavy. Batista Christian Joey Mercury Orlando Jordan (This is the match were if Benoit doesn't make him a star nothing will) Torrie Wilson (specialty match for PPV) Carlito Kurt Angle (the invite may be back) This could be either gangbusters for me or a major bomb.

Pretty much just watch places like Suncoast and such. Also maybe try Half.com sometimes you can fine some great deals there.

One of my favorites was from back in the days of Nitro. A fan brought a huge board that said "My favorite Wrestler Is" and underneath he had a attached a huge name flipper with about 20 names. Everytime a wrestler came out he had that name up for the camera. Such names included Meng, Kwee Wee, and my favorite The Wrestler Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea. Invasion also had a great sign where it said I love the Olsen Twins. They were what 15 then? Slightly creepy.

Well, I would have laughed if I heard a poem dedicated to Katie Vick. Sure the angle sucked, but if anyone can make a joke of it would have been great for a Diva contestant to do so.

Yeah, I have noticed that the Pancake stats have been seriously inflated this season. I know I had to linemen with 30 after 2 games. I am OU though so I attributed some of those to Adrian Peterson running over people near the line while running over the linemen.

The Daily Show is great, but I don't think it is up to the same level it was a few years ago. Although, I still think it is better then 90% of what is on TV now. Although Stephen Colbert's "This week in God" is one of the best segements on the show.

If you are talking the animated DCU, you have to give serious props to Bruce Timm. Anyone pickup Superman TAS vol 1? Highly impressive stuff on there.

Thing is with this comic strip it is pretty much the opposite version of a Doonesbury strip. A few years ago people wanted Mallard moved to the editorial pages since it dealt with politcal issues, however the stayed silent on Doonesbury. Seems like people aren't happy in the world unless they got something to bitch about.

Haven't seen anything involving Shauna O'Brien in a long time. Thought she was quite attractive, but she was way better before the enhancements.

How could you all forget the classic SNES game "Zombies Ate My Neighbors!" This game was great, espically since I was able to pick it up for like $10 at a Kay Bee Toys about 10 years ago.

Well, looks like I am in the minority on this. I like the comic strip although I don't understand why he would be so angry about this being in the book. It isn't that big of deal. I thought the book was great, except for the naked Supreme Court justices (yuck)

Yeah, it is a good idea to go Smackdown heavy next week. However, I do think that maybe it is a good idea to have a couple of Raw guys on your roster for the week.

Flair showing up on Raw after the day after the Invasion angle was finished. Big shock, the show was in Charlotte so it was not very surprising.
