Hmmm, Booster seems like it could be an interesting read. I like that the blackboard in Rip's lair asks "Who is Dr. 13?" I loved reading that backup story earlier this year in Tales of the Unexpected.

I seem to recall that Gaiman wrote one story for the Sandman series based on Shakepeare's The Tempest. Maybe as test run with the idea you could go with that issue for your class. Sadly though I can't remember what issue number that was though. This seems like an interesting idea you have. The trouble would be whether or not the students would understand the ideas that Alan Moore and Frank Miller were presenting.

Did anyone read the Lex Luthor: Man of Steel mini series a couple of years ago by Azzarello and Bermejo? To me that first issue was one of the best issues I ever read.

Don't get me wrong, I take nothing away from the mans talent, I respect what he can do, but there is a difference between respecting and liking. At the end of the day it all comes down to a matter of personal opinion. I don't like Ross' realistic style and its as simple as that. Plus in interviews Ive read with and about the guy it seems like he a mightier than thou jerk. That part is true about Ross. He kind of reminds me of John Bryne or Peter David. One thing about Alex Ross is that he LOVES the Silver Age of comics. I remember one time he said the best version of the Justice League was the one from the Superfriends cartoon.
