The notion that SAR is cursed or lacks winning intangibles is the most asinine thing I've ever heard. The Grizz, Hawks, and Blazers were HORRIBLE situations for him to be in.

So far my first impressions are: 1. I like the fact that hte menu scrrens were actually updated some from last year. Not a big deal but to me it makes a difference. 2. The whole cone thing threw me the fuck off and I lost because of it. My friends who have played a few games seem to like it though. Ive only played one game so far and need to adjust to new controls and I think Ill like this addition. 3. The other gameplay feels pretty much the same but I have been using the truck stick very effectively with bigger backs. 4. 04' had a bad ass sound track while 05' sucked kinda. Im very much liking the 06' track however. I have yet to buy the game but I probably will with my next paycheck. While it is basically the same as 05' ther is enough improvements to warrant a purchase for myself. The hating by reviewers is stupid though. They're just bitter (and maybe rightfully so) 2K fansboys (mostly) who want their game back. It doesnt make sense to give an improved game a worse score than its predecessor though.

The Vikings still have Daunte so thats a good start. Even without Onterrio Smith the ground game will still be very good. New OC Steve Loney is putting in an aggressive play action package. On defense they added two very good DB's in Smoot and Winfield. They made the playoffs last year and even without Moss they are a more complete team. They should win the division easily in my opinion because I'm not sold on the Packers and I will remain skeptical about Detroit until they win some games. With Mike tice as head coach I dont think they will be able to make it over the hump but they could very well make the NFC championship game and maybe even the Super Bowl.

The Pistons exercised the option on Darko's contract for the 06-07 season. Not sure what this means to a trade.

Actually Darko just turned 20 last month. I dont think there is a center in next years draft who has as much supposed upside as Darko still has so It would work for Atlanta nicely.

Yao is a good fit to take a backseat to Kobe and even Odom. He doesnt mind being a #2 option or probably even a 3rd. Hes gonna get his 10+ boards and 2 blocks no matter what and a center who puts up 18 pts in todays NBA is still a rarity. Theres no guarantee Bynum will pan out but he is a pretty good insurance policy if they cant land Yao,

I don't think filling Spree's shoes is going to be difficult. Wally isn't as talented as him but he's probably more consistent. Also McCants is good enough to log major minutes as SG and with so many veteran players around him he wont have to do as much.
