Damn, Jason Kidd is 3 rebounds and an assist away from a triple double halfway through the 3rd quarter. Edit: He missed out by 1 rebound.

I dont think it was right to fire Flip for his team quitting on him but thats the way the NBA works now. Hes a good coach and shouldn't be unemployed for long. I wonder if LA is interested.

Pats suck, Celts suck, Sox suck Arena

I'm getting the Duke UNC game.

I dont see them as being as good as the other Dynasties. Its not that they arent talented but... the Patriots are such a boring team. They dont have any of those players who seem bigger than the game. Legends like Aikman, Montana, and Emmit. They have very good players but no one who stands out. They arent fun to root for and they have no personality.

American Dad was pretty funny at times. The son seems to basically be Neil from FG. The fish needs to die, and the Aliens voice was bad. I assume it will get better but nowhere near the laughs I got from the pilot of Family Guy. And that was the worst Simpsons EVER! They havent retained any of the humor and flavor that made the show great.

Unversity of Cincinatti has a player named Jihad Muhammed.

At this point if I were the Blazers I would trade Andersen for Allen Iverson's socks and a bag of nickels. He's been such a dissapointment ever since he came to Portland. The guy is always hurt.

Well Oregon signed #1 running back Jonathan Stewart. It appears he is their only major signing in what amounted to a pretty dissapointing class for them.

From Oregonian columnist John Canzano's blog: http://www.oregonlive.com/canzano/ Theres also some pretty funny stories that make the Blazers look like asses. Also reported in his column Portland coach Maurice Cheeks already offered his resignation but management refused to accept it.

New Pic of Jessica Simpson in "Dukes of Hazzard"

I just saw that pic a few days ago in a tabloid at Safeway. -
At this point I gotta give it to Steve Nash. I think Nash proved his value during his absence when the Suns were lost without him. He brings the his teamates up to levels they haven't played at. Amare is a monster with him in the lineup and even credited Nash with some of the improvement he has made. Lebron, while a statistical monster and freakishly good still has a little ways to go. He probably will finish top 3 in the end of season voting and if Nash slips up he could win. Then there's Shaq who also elevates other players around him to shine. Dwayne Wade is a phenomenal player and is still getting better but some of his improvement must be credited to having the most dominant center in the game. Also Damon Jones and Udonis Haslem have been playing excellent basketball this season with Jones being a 3 point machine and Haslem averaging nearly 10 boards per game. I think Shaq's declining stats will keep him from winning the award. Tim Duncan is a super star as well but will be overlooked because of the amazing seasons of a few other guys I already mentioned. He is a true professional and comes to play night in and night out. Reigning MVP Kevin Garnett lost a lot of votes due to the way his team has been playing.

I expected Seattle to fizzle out by this point. I don't think that will happen now and I see them as a lock for the playoffs barring something disatrous. However I don't think the winning will carry over to next season. As good as they're playing it still looks like Ray Allen is unhappy and wants out. Maybe he will have a change of heart with a little playoff success but I wouldn't bet on seeing him in a Sonics jersey next year.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Earvin "Magic" Johnson. I know Magic isn't his real name but it might as well have been. I always liked NFL players with bad ass names like Kenyon Rambo, TJ Slaughter, Tank Williams, and Arnaz Battle. And who can forget former NBA player Ala Abdelnaby?
-
Josh Smith's stats definitely make him worthy of being on the Rookie team. As for Harrison he played well during Jermaine's absence but I believe he has been sidelined with and injury for some time now. If those rosters stay the same it looks to me like the Soph's will crush the Rookies.

Look at Willis McGahee. He took a year off AND recovered from major surgery and turned out great. If hes been staying in shape and working on his game Williams will be just fine.

Following a win against the Spurs the Blazers revert to their oldselves losing again this time to Dallas. It was close but Portland hit something like 15-32 from the line. Some serious changes need to be made including dumping Derek Andersen who misses games with toothaches. At least Miles and Randolph are back in the lineup.

I just read in the Oregonian that Eric Crouch has signed with the Chiefs. I can't find a link so heres the excerpt from the paper:

I'll take the Washington Redskins.

Im a bit skeptical about all the comic movies coming out. A lot of them weren't that great of characters (Deathlok, Black Panther). Ghost Rider is pretty cool though and Cage really pushed for this role so I think he will do some great work. Compared to Nic Cage Pearlman was an unknown. A lot of people still hadn't heard of him. I like watching comic movies with stars that i dont asssociate with other movies. It makes them feel realer or something.
