If Cal does lose Saturday then they probably dont deserve to be in a BCS game. The one team that isn't going to make it but is definitely deserving is Louisville. They damn near beat Miami on the road and that is their only blemish. Hopefully they get a good bowl matchup. The Big East better watch out because its looking like U of L is the team to beat next year.

At first I was going to complain about BC going to a BCS game but as it turns out theyre only a 3 loss team. Those losses are ugly (Wake, Pitt) but close (losing by a combined total of 6 points). I dont think theyre better than UGA, Louisville, or Miami but they are BCS bound If California gets shut out of the BCS picture there are gonna be some pissed off people. Cal has had a better season than anyone ranked behind them and is as good as USC. If you play that game 10 times, Cal wins 5. The Rose Bowl would be furious as well because they want Cal/ Michigan badly. No one wants to see Boise State play in this game over Cal.

I dont like the new logo at all. When I saw it on PTI today I thought they were yalking about the National League. The DC logo wouldve looked much cooler on the hats. I also think Senators would've been a better name.

MTV News According to another source Suge Knight was also causing some trouble at the show getting onstage and yelling "fuck G Unit" and other insults. Vibe Award Drama

Athletes arent getting paid money to be more mature. Theyre getting paid because of how much money is made off of them. They dont have to stand for anyone throwing shit at them. Professional athletes deserve every penny they make. They are used until they cant perform at the highest level and then in most cases tossed aside like an empty beer can.

In Artest's sitution I wouldve done the same thing. In Stephen Jackson or Jermaines position I still wouldve done the same thing.

After looking at the stats Alex Smith looks the most impressive. Alex Smith is 169-of-255 with 2,440 yards, 27 TDs and 2 INTs. He also has 106 carries for 544 yards and 9 TDs. 2 picks!?! Thats ridiculously low and he has 544 rushing yards. I doubt he'll win it though because he plays for Utah, but hes got the deserving stats. Also hes 10-0.

I think the show was cool, the NFL is a bunch of bitches, and ESPN should sell the show to some other network like HBO and continue the series.

I dont know how the Blazers only scored 60 against the Nets. I wouldve thought Z bo would tear it up against whomever NJ has starting at forward.

I could see MSU sneaking up on Wisconson this week. They have been playing well lately even in their losses.

How does Alexis Serna make 2 field goals in the heavy fog but miss 3 pats against LSU? And Oregon's Keith Allen is a worthless piece of shit for missing a wide open catch on 4th down.

The shot clock behind one of the baskets is not going to be working tonight in Memphis. The Grizzlies are playing the Rockets with no shot clock on the home side. I don't how a professional basketball team can be that dumb that they dont have a way of fixing it or having a backup.. The godamn refs have to announce the countdown.

It mostly only work for schools in the south or midwest (OU, Nebraska, Alabama, etc..). I dont think it would be as funny with Cal or Pittsburgh.

Fuck all the age bullshit, the Heisman should be for the best season no matter what year in college. Eventually a freshman will win the award, might as well give it to the guy that so far has earned it, Adrian Peterson. Someone may end up out shining him by the end of the year, but if the season were to end today he deserves it. Leinart has a good shot of winning though because there may be a split vote with the OU boys. He deserved it last year seeing as he had better numbers than Carson Palmer did when he won.

If Auburn wins their matchup against Georgia they should be at least #2. Theyve beaten some pretty damn good teams already and a win against UGA should give them some points in the polls. Their schedule is very difficult to close the season playing Georgia, at Alabama, and the title game against Tennessee(probably). If they win out they deserve a title shot. I'm pulling for USC vs Auburn for the title.

The Raiders should be using Washington and Sapp to stuff the run in a 4-3 defense. They may be older but they are still massive and can create an immovable wall. They arent much of a pass rushing threat, Sapp had a respectable 5 sacks is 03' and Washington had only 2. Of course no one on the D line is a real threat with their ends combining for 5 sacks last year. Norv fucked this team up.
