What I meant was its not their fault if they arent the BEST shooters. They are still pretty good shooters but not nearly as good as some of their international counterparts. And its not like they dont practice their shooting. And that Puerto Rican guy with the slicked back hair, THAT was stupid as hell.

According to the guys on Around the Horn, the big deal around Phelps is being made by the media and Speedo.

AVP made 38 mil this weekend. I was surprised they made that much. I was expecting $24-25 mil.

Im pretty dissapointed with the swimming team picking Phelps for the 4x100 relay just so he can chase some record he wont get. I dont have anything against Michael Phelps but I think Gary Hall Jr. shouldve been on the relay team. He was on it when they qualified in the morning, but left off for Phelps in the medal round. Hall deserved to be on that team. He won 3 gold medals in Sydney I believe and he got screwed this year.

I dont know why everyone is knocking the players so much. Its not their fault none of them can shoot and theyve only practiced for 3 weeks. I myself was cheering for the US team the whole way. Who are you cheering for if not the US?

The US Basketball team (I refuse to refer to them as the Dream Team) lacks so many things this year. No shooters, no big men, and no experience. I dont know what some guys like Okafor are even on the team for. If you're gonna select him at least let him play. They need shooters like Mike Redd and they shouldve invited some decent big men that are actually big like Brad Miller and Rasheed. I just see something wrong with Boozer as a backup center and Marion playing PF.

Oregon has fared quite well as the underdog against non-confernce opponents in recent years. Beat Texas in 00', Colorado in 01' and Michigan last year. I dont think any of those teams were as good as OU is this year, but I still think there is a decent chance at an upset.

Go see em play ASU. It should be the best of those games and its early enough to not get rained on too much.

I saw it for free so I cant really be that upset. Definitley nothing special but I thought it was enjoyable. I would highly recommend buying the Predator DVD though. Atleast that way you get a good movie and get to see an ok one.

Got mine today from Gamecrazy. IMO its a lot better than Espn 2k5. The franchise mode from what ive seen is incredibly deep. Played two games so far but I havent really noticed the defense being improved. I can shut down the run but my brother killed me with the pass.

It appears to me that the international refs are biased against the US. Watching the Serbia game Bill Walton even pointed out that many of the calls were absurd.

Me and a couple friends (IK Cool Jew) were talking about this the other night. We came to the unanimous decision that State of Emergency was by far, the biggest letdown weve ever experienced. The Getaway was also a close second of mine.

The Blazers #1 priority is to land a sharpshooter this offseason and Peja is on of the best obviously. They could trade SAR to Sacto for him straight up if theyre contracts match. SAR could start at SF with the Kings if he wanted to play it.

The problem is the obvious lack of a 3 point presence and the lack of any big men. Michael Redd woulve been a much better choice than adding Okafor who never plays. Tim Duncan is great but the other forwards are far from it. Amare and Boozer werent even All Stars and Okafor has never played in the NBA. I dont think Iverson should be captain, but they do need someone vocal to lead their team and that probably isnt Duncan. The 92' team had plenty of real leaders, something this team seems to be lacking.

Stallone in Cobra 4/10 The Village 3/10 Harold and Kumar 8/10

Hooray! Catwoman is a huge dud. It had $100 mil budget. I dont see the Village having a strong second weekend with all the bad reviews but it did pretty well. Harold and Kumar might have some legs. Good reviews everywhere, I hear its hilarious.
