Just saw it and it was action packed. If you go into it hoping for some bad ass action it certainly wont disappoint. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. It looks like it will do some major box office too since the theater I went to had 4 midnight screenings close to selling out.

I was at the Blazer game tonight and it was great. Well it was until the game winded down to the final 3 minutes and the Spurs hit like 4 straight threes. Tony Parker barely played but Michael Finley was a stone cold killer. I would say the Spurs have plenty of depth. Vaughn is serviceable, Barry isn't bad, and Udrih looks really good. Elson and Oberto aren't pretty, but fuck it they have Tim Duncan. Brandon Roy seems to be getting better every game and is going to be an All Star really soon.

I once wrote a 10 page paper based almost entirely off of Wikipedia. My sources cited were just books that the author of my textbook had cited. When the term ended the Professor didn't post any grades and sent out a class e-mail stating that grading would be delayed a week because he found multiple people plagiarising. At first I though "well shit, here comes an F" but when I went to his office to pick up my essay I was shocked to have gotten 100% and an A- in the class. Thanks Wikipedia! Edit: I added myself to my Universities list of notable alumni. I wonder how long it will take for my name to be removed.

And the first big NFL free agent signing goes to...

Sounds like Jake "the Snake" Plummer would rather call it quits than play for the Bucs. -
Bill Simmons has an incredibly long article about the All Star weekend festivities. Apparently there were as many Michael Jackson sightings as there were police sightings. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...mp;lid=tab3pos1

I would like to see the NBA All Star game in Las Vegas every year. It could be like the Pro Bowl. I know the players loved it and as a fan I would be more inclined to attend compared to a game in Detroit, Cleveland, Memphis... hell just about any NBA city.

It's starting to look like this slide could cost Ernie Kent his job. There have been rumblings for the past few years and they're starting up again. Missing the post season 3 straight years coupled with his inability to recruit some of the best in state talent ever certainly doesn't help him. If it all goes down Oregon suddenly has some new options. The new Athletic Director is great friends with Gonzaga's Mark Few and even flew him down for a Ducks football game. Few is also from Creswell, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon as well. Mark Few has spurned offers from better schools but perhaps this is his dream job.

Who picks All Star replacements, the coach or Stern?

Boston could use another consistent scoring option to help out Paul Pierce.

Most NBA coaches would rather shoot themselves than have guys who don't play defense, take bad shots, and turn the ball over.

Something in me wants to see Jack die.

I thought it was great commercial. Any time Rasheed is on TV its good. It's part of Nike's marketing campaign for the 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1. I don't know anything about you cheech but you may not be their target audience.

Has anybody heard of any good deals on 360's? I've got an Xbox and a PS2 to trade in but the PS2 system has been opened and the warranty voided.

I find it interesting that Children of Men was loved by critics yet failed to make an impression on the Academy. With an estimated $72 million budget it also bombed at the box office.

Nash is a very deserving candidate but I think the prospect of him winning it 3 years in a row will turn some voters away.

Are there actually any Sonics fans? Living in Portland I've never really seen any and the few I've met I can count on one hand. Somehow those few seem to think they have a rivalry with the Blazers but to Blazer fans they're just that team up north with shitty jerseys and Luke Ridnour.
-
No they're certainly not bad and at times they look great but they shouldn't be ahead of Oregon in this weeks rankings. If we're gonna play the almost game Oregon almost made 2 free throws to send the USC game to OT and is almost undefeated.

Oregon offensive coordinator and former BYU head coach is leaving to be OC at LSU. I'm hoping that means less spread offense for Oregon.

Ohio State (3 losses) remains ranked ahead of Oregon (16-1) after the Ducks beat UCLA and Arizona in the last week.

I'm a pretty big Reggie Bush fan and I like Deuce a little bit too so I'm pulling for the Saints to win the Super Bowl. On the other hand I do not want to hear about how great it is for the city of New Orleans and all that shit. Yeah, it is great, but fuck that I want to watch some football. Whichever teams end up there I think we already know the story lines. Will the Bears pull it together and win? Will Peyton finally win the big one? Are the Pats the greatest dynasty ever? I don't mind putting up with it as long as the SB is entertaining this year. I fell asleep at halftime last year but I hear Prince is doing the HT show which excites me. As for the Patriots celebrating at midfield and doing the Merriman dance I say good for them. If San Diego has a problem with it maybe they should've won the fucking game. I watched LT and Luis Castillo talk about how classless they were on Sportscenter. You know whats classless? How about a 4 game suspension for steroids. Or in Castillo's case testing positive for marijuana and watching your draft stock slip 5 rounds(or however far he fell). Or that personal foul on fuckhead for trying to headbutt someone. Fuck you San Diego, win or go home (in this case they were home so win or shut the fuck up).

The Pac 10 is loaded up top. I eally thought Oregon should've moved up a little bit after beating UCLA but thats what they get for not beating USC. Big game against Arizona next week. In other Pac 10 news former Kansas center C.J. Giles has transferred to Oregon State. They definitely need some help after losing by 45 to USC.

I like the uniforms but the yellow helmet just looked stupid. Maybe if they wore it with yellow jerseys it would look alright but not with the black or the green ones. That was a pretty big beatdown by BYU.

"Official" answer- Because the Big 12 is down this year while the Big East has three 10-win teams REAL answer- ESPN has rights to the Big East but not the Big 12, same reason they talk up the Big 10 and Pac 10 and not the SEC, which plays its big games on CBS instead of ESPN or ABC. Fox Sports has the rights to the Pac 10. Unfortunatley.

Portland basically loses nothing in this scenario except for that draft pick which could be a very good player in this next class. Miles is worthless and Magloire is close to it. Would it be worth losing that draft pick if it meant unloading Darius Miles? Yeah probably. If Miami actually wants AI then this isn't too bad for any of these teams because Philly is going no where fast and could end up with two top 10 or even top 5 draft picks.

I really wish I had the cash to go to the Vegas Bowl. Las Vegas and Ducks football games are two of my favorite places to get drunk. And I could bash on mormons.
