Gary Floyd replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
I take it though I keep wishing (and even though she said she would do so if asked) Victoria will never pose for Playboy. Oh well. -

Yes! Best movie ever is getting released on DVD
Gary Floyd replied to Ravenbomb's topic in Television & Film
Kiss is a cool band.Sure, it's big, dumb arena rock. But it KNOWS it's big fumb arena rock. It's mostly done in a tongue and cheek fashion, and that's part of what makes the band so enjoyable. Their music isn't anything too serious, and that's why it's great. Basically, how could anyone hate Kiss is beyond me. My favorite Kiss song. -

REGAN SMASH! That is all. Well, as much as I enjoy "Family Guy", I will say that it's not perfect. It's biggest flaws are 1.) It rellies to heavily on pop-culture gags and "Hey remeber that time when" jokes. I get it guys, you were raised on 70's and 80's pop culture, now give it a rest! The other problem is 2.) Other than Brian, none of the characters are the least bit likeable. Some would disagree with me, or argue that it's the point of the show, but that's just my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. That put of the way, I wouldn't be a bit suprised that the people in the animation biz who have criticized it are more than a little jealous. "South Park", while still funny, is no near as popular as it used to be. John K had "Ren and Stimpy" and some awesome music videos he did for Bjork and Tenacious D, but that's it. His other ventures have been complete disasters, and "Ren and Stimpy's Adult Cartoon Party" had a total of one good episode. "Clerks: The Animated Series", while amusing, was pretty hit and miss. Oh, and as for "The Simpsons", what hasn't been said about it's decline? Plus, while it's not doing terrible in the ratings, compared to "Family Guy", it's not doing to great right now, and it's popularity has plummeted considerably.

Man with the Screaming Brain-8/10. Saw it last night on Sci-Fi. There were two things that bugged me (Ted Rami as a hip hop quoting scientist's assitence is hit and miss, and there's a scene were Bruce Campbell's characters wife cheats on him that's hardly brought up at all.). Other than that, if you know it's not going to be the next "Bubba Ho-Tep" or "Evil Dead II", it's pretty damn funny. That out of the way, it's in no way a horror movie. It's a comedy through and through.

My sister likes Starved. Me, I'd have to agree, it lacks the punch of FX's drama shows. As for "It's Always Sunny in Philidephia", I think it's ok. I watch it because there usually isn't anything else on.

This is for three movies debuting on Sci-Fi. First is "The Man With the Screaming Brain". This one is actually worth checking out. Why? Because it was co-writen by, stars, and was directred by....Bruce Campbell. That's right, it's his directorial debut. Here's the Sci-Fi Channel site here, complete with brief trailer. http://www.scifi.com/screamingbrain/ Also, Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5 won;t be released theatrically after all. Instead, they'll both debut on Sci-Fi on Oct. 15th. More info here http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/modules...rticle&sid=2604
