Damnit, I really wish "Land of The Dead" was doing better. Oh well, it's not like George made it with a big box-office smash in mind.

The OaO "Land of the Dead" talkback thread

It's pretty good, just don't expect a comedy like the first two. It's more seroius, though it's pretty good, IMO. Plus, you get to see Mindy Clark's tits, as well as one of the villains (the girl one) from "Superman II" (no, you don't see her tits) Also, while it's a book, you should read Brian Keenes "The Rising" and "City of the Dead". -
I remember having my wisdom teeth pulled out. Was nothing really.

Ha, great stuff there.

I wonder if they'll do a Gay Weather Channel next?

Whats really weird: Boll wants it to be a 3-hour film. As for Perlman, I think he's one of the most underrated actors on Earth. See "City of Lost Children" for an example. Also, he's awesome as Slade on "Teen Titans" IMO. (even though this season has been mostly diappointing, it's great to see him back)

I own "Choking Hazard". Nothing original, but definately a riot, especially the Jehovas Witness pornstar. I like to think of it like this: If Steve Odedkerk followed up "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist" with a Zombie movie, it would be a little like "Choking Hazard". Also, "Dead Meat", which has zombies, lots of gore, a weird sense of humor, and cows that eat people. Then theres "Stacy", a Japanese zombie film with zombie school girls, a weapon called "Blues Campbell Right Hand # 2" (Their spelling, not mine), an army called "The Romero Kill-Repeat Squad", and a defense squad of Drew Berrymore fangirls. It's basically like the best movie Troma never made. Oh, and "Junk", which is a Japanese rip off od Italian Zombie films and "Return of the Living Dead 3", with Yakuza, a Zombie that eats it's own flesh, and a bad ass, speedy, intelligent, and strong zombie babe with a nice pair of tits. "Wild Zero" has already been mentioned, and I can't begin to tell you how much I love that movie. It's like the manliest film ever made. Anyone here seen a Chinese Zombie film called "Bio-Zombie", or the film "Battlefield Baseball" (it has zombies in it, I hear)

Speaking of "Return of the Living Dead", ROTLD 4: Necropolis and ROTLD 5: Rave from the Grave come to theatres on Oct. 7th from Freestyle Releasing, who also released the film adaptation of Stephen King's "Riding the Bullet" -
Well, this really sucks. Thats all I can say right now unfortunately...this really sucks.

Shivers is Pretty Sweet. May I recommend "Dead And Buried" It's a not-so-traditional zombie movie with a town with a secret, the granpa from "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", Robert Englund, a really creepy atmosphere, and a hyperdermic needle to the eye that outdoes the splinter to the eye in "Zombi 2" (mostly because it's more sudden and simplistic, and not as overdone, as the splinter scene) Then theres "Re-Animator". I'm honestly suprised no one mentioned that one yet. Oh, I recently got to downloading "Undead". It's pretty fun, but not as great as the hype would lead you to believe.

Just saw it out of boredom. Wasn't too impressed, though I must say, Dakota Fanning isn't that bad of an actress.
