Robert Deniro as Travis Bickle, hands down. Also, Hopper as Booth was awesome, as was his turn in Apocalypse Now: "What are they gonna say about him? What are they gonna say? That he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? That he had plans? That he had wisdom? Bullshit man!"

Oh yea, Dennis Hopper, who's in "Land of the Dead" (And is my all time favorite actor, even if he has been in some shitty movies.) is on Craig Ferguson tonight. Anchor Bay is releasing that on DVD August 23rd. Now if only they'srelease "Dead & Breakfast"... -
A LITTLE thin? Every time Lawler opens his mouth, I wish someone would beat the ever-loving shit out of him.

The official summer horror films thread

There's male rape, dark humor, forced gender bending, crucifixtion, and a scene where a hillbilly psycho practically out of an Edward Lee story fucking a pig. -
I remember Scotty Riggs using the ropes in pinfalls when he was a face.

Personally, I can't wait for "High Tension". I've been wanting to see it for about a year so far. Nice article on it here: http://www.calendarlive.com/movies/cl-ca-d...movies-features

Well, it wasn't me...(Yea, that's what I want them to think)

This is beyond hilarious. In an slightly related story, last night, out of pure geekiness, I downloaded the old Power Ranger Theme.

Darkness (Uncut Version)-6/10. Better than the theatrical version, though still pretty derivitive of other films. The acting sucks, but there's a great sense of dread and atmosphere. What really hurts the film is the final half, which is borderline incoherent, and stupid. Not as bad as most said, but not really anything special.

Brian Pillman in his ECW and WWF run. Especially in his last days in the WWF.

One of the shittiest moves in wrestling history, next to The Worm and Jeff Hammond's "Pitstop" Elbow Drop in TNA. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or Ronny Garvins "Hands of Stone"

Anyone here remember the PGmrated animated film from 1982 called "Rock and Rule"? Well, if you do,I've got good news for ya: The DVD comes out next week. http://www.unearthedfilms.com/rockandrule.htm

Vince would never put himself over his stars (sarcasm)

I used to think that the company is trying to alienate their core audience, and trying to create a new one that will accept anything that they do, no matter how stupid it is. While I no longer think that, I am still amazed at how clueless the company is. I'm also starting to wonder how long it's going to remain this clueless.

Is Smackdown better than Raw right now?
Gary Floyd replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Smackdown. As bad as Cena is, I'd rather watch him than HHH. Besides, he's actually over, and has a character. While Benoit, Benjamin, and other talented workers are on Raw, they never have anything to do, while on Smackdown, guys like Booker, Angle, and even Eddie and Rey are given some limelight. Plus, Tazz ad Cole are much better than JR and King, who do nothing but rant and talk about nothing half if not most of the time. -
