Texas Legislators vote to ban gay foster parents
Gary Floyd replied to SuperJerk's topic in Current Events
Uh, no we don't. But we do have a proposal for an "express lane" to the gurney that greatly reduces the red tape involved in carrying out a sentence. Thanks for correcting me -
Disturbing "reality" movies about teenagers
Gary Floyd replied to Nighthawk's topic in Television & Film
"City of God" is one of the best movies I've ever seen. However, I normally don't like Larry Clarks movies (i.e. "Kids") because of the teen sex on display. I did however, like "Bully", mostly because 1.) It's based on a true story,2.) Unlike "Kids", it's more interesting, as well as more disturbing, and 3.) Leo Fitzpatrick is hilarious as the Hitman, IMO. "The Hitman needs a ride." "Kids" though, didn't really disturb me, mostly because I thought it felt too forced, and that it tried too hard to get it's message across. -
Personally, I don't mind Batista being the champ. It's just the fact that he's still going to be feuding with HHH, thus proving that no matter what, once again, HHH will always have the top spot. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but when is Vince going to quit giving his son-in-law everything he wants?

Texas Legislators vote to ban gay foster parents

I'm honeatly not suprised by this. After all, this is Texas (no offense to anyone who posts here who's from Texas), a state that allows retarded criminals to be executed. Still, it's incredibly stupid, and really doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Is there any logic behind this besides idiots who believe "OH MY GOD! Beware the evil Homos!"? -
WWE Uncomfortable with Batista as Champion
Gary Floyd replied to Dimensions's topic in The WWE Folder
Damnit, i confused the names! I meant Chachi, I always hated Chachi, and Orton's Chachi. -
House on Haunted Hill, is really ace apart from the shitty music they use as background halfway through that sounds like a shitty made for tv 80's thing, and the super shitty cgi monster thing at the end.... Interesting fact: In one of the original script drafts, the CGI ghost thingy that appears nearing the end was originally suspossed to posses all the people who had died in the house, turning them into murderous zombies. Unfortunately, the studio nixed the idea, feeling it felt too much like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. Gotta love studio logic. Fortunately, in the deleted scenes on the DVD, there's a brief bit with zombies, but it's too bad that it's short, and not what was originally intended for the film.

Is That Maculley Culken?

I gotta add "Canadian Bacon". Sure, its directed by Michael Moore, but I still think it's hilarious. Also, "Event Horizon". Everyone keeps mentioning the Mortal Kombat movie (which I hated), so I'm going on the limb to say this is a better film from the same director. Also, the scene with the massacre coaught on film=creepy as hell.

Ditto. Godzilla's my childhood hero. I love Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster though, especially the surf rock score. Oh yea, my list Pootie-Tang Joe's Apartment (singing cockroaches=GOLD) Beyond Re Animator (Not as good as the first one, but better than "Bride of Re-Animator") Day of the Dead (I love this movie.Fortunately, more people are now beginning to appreciate it.That is, unless you're a poster on Aint it Cool News, but who cares, the people there suck shit) Cabin Fever (How anyone could hate this movie is beyond me) Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (If you hate this movie, you are "Badong") The Cable Guy Castle Freak Deep Rising (Hard to believe it's from the director of "The Mummy Returns" and "Van Helsing") House on Haunted Hill remake (It has Geoffry Rush, Jeffry Combs, some decent gore, and Chris Kattan being tolerable)

If HHH is Horshack, would that make Randy Orton Potsie (I always hated Potsie.) Horshack was a scrawny geek and was on Welcom Back Kotter!. Potsie's from Happy Days. If anything HHH is like the Fonz. So i guess he "jumped the shark" once he started fucking Steph -
Holy shit. I spent most of that episode with my jaw on the floor. Too bad we didn't get more of Cartman doing Scarface.

I always thought she must have felt sore every now and then. Oh, and of course Optimus was nailing her. They didn't call him Optimus *Prime* for nothin'.

Brian B. Brunzell seems like a nice guy, with a decent sense of humor. Same with kkktookmybabyaway. Oh, and if any of you think that I have too much free time on my hands, let me tell ya something...I do, I really do.

It's things like this that make it harder to watch the WWE.

Luger and Sting circa 95 through 96: It had the best heel work in Luger's career, yet there was a sense of ambiguity to it; Luger came off as a heelish asshole who at the same time doesn't want to turn on his friend. The thing that cracks me up was that during the whole feud, Hogan (who was susposed to be a face at the time) seemed like the asshole.

It's what they've always done. It's what they'll always do. It's what they will be doing once HHH the active wrestler retires and becomes HHH, on-air personality (perhaps as a sort of "Mr. McMahaon II" evil boss character). Everything else they fuck up, but in THIS, they show continuity. I know that's what they always do. It just pisses me off. The guys not even champion anymore, but because he's family, he'll always have the top spot. He is an awesome heel commentator. Yet, we're still stuck with Lawler.

Congradulation Batista; your the champ, yet HHH still gets to be the focus of the show! Welcome to the real world, which should be bizarro world in this case, but sadly isn't.
