Riz Ortolani's score for "Mondo Cane" is one of the best scores ever.

Did you read The Cellar before the Beast House? It's a 3 book series. Just finished the Cellar and liked it very much. Yes I did, and I agree it's great. I still think Laymon's best book is "The Traveling Vampire Show" however.

He comes and goes. His latest "edgey" statement is that ambient music is the worst musical genre ever created.

Trailer for "Chemical Wedding", directed by Monty Python editor Julian Doyle and written by the one and only Bruce Dickinson. Deals with the spirit of Aleister Crowley possesing a teacher. Mayhem ensues.

I always thought "Intelligent Techno" or "Experimental Techno" sounded better, but that's probably just me.

I love how Andy brought his parents (who look like Ivy bred yuppies) to the thing. Also, Kevin was all kinds of great in this episode.

The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread

Spiff has the best sig on TSM. Oh, and Happy Birthday. -
"Frontier(s)" is far from original, but It's still a good horror movie IMO. Considering the fact that it has a family of Nazi cannibals, Milky should love it.

Speaking of Bay, here's the first on set picture from the "Friday the 13th" remake he's producing. You know, a remake was really the only logical next step, as they've pretty much done all they can with the franchise (except my idea-"Next Friday the 13th" in which Ice Cube must save his hood from Jason) Anyways, Mark (Texas Chainsaw remake) Nispel is directing it, and the guys who wrote "Freddy vs. Jason" wrote it. Cast includes Jared (Supernatural) Padalecki, Amanda (The O.C.) Righetti, Nick (Halloween remake) Mennell, Danielle Panabaker, Travis van Winkle, Aaron (Disturbia) Yoo, Jonathan Sadowski, Nana (Deep Space 9) Visitor as Mama Vorhees, and Derek (Hills Have Eyes 2) Mears as Jason. Oh, and here's an awesome picture for "The Strangers"

Heavy Metal and subgenre description
Gary Floyd replied to Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye's topic in Music
I've been meaning to get into Necrophagist. What's their best album? Gorguts' album Obscura is awesome. It's like Death Metal meets The Swans. Another really good Tech Death Metal Album is Demilich's Nespithe. Oh, and The Key by Nocturnus has great use of keyboards. They fit more in Progressive Metal than Death Metal, but Alchemist are pretty good.
