They didn't want him long-term, couldn't fire him in the off-season after he led them to the playoffs, so they undermined him publically and caused him to lose the players. Pretty dirty, but well done by Kiki Unspellablelastname. Michael Cooper should work out very well for them, obviously knows the game and the players will respect and work hard for him. Make campuses dry, it doesn't matter. Kids will still get booze on campus, and they'll still go off-campus to drink. There is no stop-gap solution to keep kids from dying from alcohol overdoses, stupid kids will over-drink anyway. The REAL solution starts from the very bottom, a lowering of drinking ages and a healthier overall outlook on alcohol as a nation. The underlying currents of the temperance movement are the reason we get so many binge drinkers and alcoholics. Drinking should be a healthy, natural thing, but our culture is retarded.....

I didn't see this as a shock at all, in fact I was 90% sure that Joe would drop the belt. I would have been more shocked (pleasantly, I might add) if he'd retained. Don't get me wrong, I like Aries, and I think he has the potential to do quite well with the title, and it was also about time for Joe to drop it, but I'm not seeing this as a shock at all, kind of a let down actually.

I'd say don't, you'll probably regret it. I know a lot of the music inteligencia thinks it's better than Turn on the Bright Lights, but I don't at all. Far as I can tell the only reason critics praise it is because they got away from their influences a bit, which IMO is a bad thing, and I don't think the vocals work as well with their "evolved" song structures. If anything this new record made them more average in my eyes.
