I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck they're trying to do. They trade Lyle Overbay and Junior Spivey for Richie Sexson, who they aren't even going to keep!!!! and now they spend mad cash on one of the most injury prone players in the game and a pitcher who despite battling and knowing how to win maxes out at "good" Are they rebuilding, putting in a futile effort to win now w/ Johnson or just trying to tread water? WTF?!?

I still rank Minnesota as the favorites, just based on the fact that every year they manage to win it, plus they're bringing back last year's team more or less intact, with Santana, Radke and Nathan anchoring the staff, plus Mauer and Morneau on track to become big time hitters. Cleveland has some nice young hitters in Victor Martinez, Travis Hafner, Casey Blake, Coco Crisp, Josh Phelps and Jody Gerut, as well as veteran Matt Lawton and a returning Aaron "F'n" Boone, plus a good staff anchored by Sabathia, Westbrook and Lee, but I think they need another season of experience before they overtake the Twins. Plus you never know about Chicago, though I don't see them being quite good enough to make the playoffs unless some of their kids really step up.

Wells going to Boston makes the Pavano aquisition more likely I suppose, but as a fan I'd rather have Boomer

RAW can't lose Jericho. However, HBK or Benoit would liven up SD! a great deal. I'd prefer to see Lesnar on RAW as well, and HBK has done every possible program on RAW, so something like HBK for Lesnar would be perfect IMO.

I think Mags has much higher Belle potential. The fact that Boras is canceling workouts and not letting team doctors examine him would scare me off. Delgado had a fine second half last year after the first half slump and he's only 32. As a 1B/DH he'll keep putting up his big power numbers. If Baltimore can put together a lineup of Roberts/Mora/Tejada/Delgado/Lopez and get anything from their pitching staff they'll be a really tough play, and a contender if they were in the central.

New Orleans is a disaster at this point. Baron has the chronic disc problem in his back, Mash is done for the forseeable future, and now McGloire is out several months with a busted hand. Honestly, I don't see how they can really compete or even lay solid plans for the future at this point. Baron will likely be traded as he won't play through injury for them, he won't get full value because of the chronic injury, and they've got nothing else for fans to get excited about. Charlotte is going to be in better shape than them pretty quick, if they aren't already.

I'm a diehard Patriots fan and I'll never say a bad word about Manning, the guy is the real deal. I have the utmost respect for that team and to my eyes they're the only legitimate challenger in the AFC. A Pats-Colts rematch in the AFC championship would be a hell of a fucking game.

That's the truth, and it's why Indy is smart to keep Manning and Harrison together as long as possible. Their system is built around Manning and Harrison, and it's Harrison that allows them to pick guys like Wayne and Stokley and bring them along in the system.
