Because now they're on SMACKDOWN!

That game had ZERO heat and buildup, unless you consider Bill Parcells having a nervous breakdown "heat" Whatever, there's a large segment of our country that wants to revert to the 1950's mentality where we hear/speak/see no evil, sex and nudity of course being filthy and evil. It goes right along with the cold war, sorry, "war on terror" and Michael Powell is trying to spearhead that cultural revolution. You can see just as much nudity and innuendo in a fucking shampoo commercial, but not before wholesome, All-American pigskin! Somebody throw those cheerleaders some clothes, their mothers wouldn't want them dressed like that! Also, seconded on there being much less of an uproar if it's Tom Brady or Brett Favre and not public enemy #1 Terrell Owens.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell the Giants contended for the playoffs. And San Fran's next best hitters after Bonds (Grissom, Feliz) are of about equal value to Reggie Sanders, an afterthought in STL's offense. Saying that any one of Rolen, Edmonds or Pujols were of equal value to their team as Bonds was is absurd. Swap one of them for Bonds and San Fran would have been out of the race by July.

I get the feeling that Pedro is the Sox trojan horse and he's been sent to plunge The Boss further into the depths of insanity

Wow, it's really been five months since I completely lost interest in SD? Time flys when you stop watching crappy wrestling shows.

Trish's crack = ratings

I've never seen so much revisionist history in my life. WWE = communist Russia

I kind of wish they would, but only if they're willing to put effort into the division, with workers who'll commit to the style and aren't restricted to working formula matches by the office. You don't need blood, balcony dives or wacky props to have a good hardcore match, just a good, tight match with some well planned spots thrown in. It definitely helps to have veterans involved though, guys like Raven, Finlay, Bossman, Regal, Snow etc, which unfortunately they don't have enough of. I can only think of a handful of midcard guys I'd trust to put on credible hardcore matches; RVD, Christian, Tajiri, Rhyno, Bob Holly, Dudley Trio, Nunzio, Steven Richards off the top of my head. Maybe the younger guys like Kenzo, Snitsky, Heidenreich, Reigns, Jindrak etc. could take to it, but that's a crapshoot. They don't really have the horses with the brand split, to pull it off you'd have to make the current champion a temporary free agent with matches on both shows, they need to have more shit that spans both brands to make things less stale and predictable.

A silent J? This is so retarded

CRACK!

Trish without makeup! AHHHHHHHHH!

The perfect booking here would be Maven thinking he's in on the finger poke of doom and then after the three Evolution just totally destroys him. Only thing that can make up for 5 minutes of HHH showing Maven his cock.

That's a simple premise, it puts more pressure on the muscles in the upper body. The legs are used to create leverage in getting the shoulders up. Think about when you do crunches or situps, to do it properly you hook your legs on the sit up board or have someone hold them down so you don't "cheat" and use your legs.

Why did they dusty finish that switch in England just to do it a month later in.......Indiana?!? Stupid.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

So the "trust fund" angle was that Raven's parents left him money or something? It was supposed to be a new twist on the Raven character, that the slacker/generation X guy he'd been in ECW/WCW was just a hipster pose and he was really just a spoiled rich kid with a mansion and a large trust fund. After losing his flock he became depressed and lost interest in the Raven character and returned to being a lazy rich kid. "Jim" and "Chastity" were childhood friends who hung out at his house. It was pretty interesting stuff at the time and Raven is always good at developing his characters, I was sad to see it dropped.... I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure his eye was "injured" by Raven when Raven was trying to get him to join the flock. Raven beat him down enough that Riggs finally relented and joined. I don't remember the narcissist gimmick. He later showed up in ECW in 2000 as RVD's buddy Scotty Anton. I don't think he ever played a pirate though -

The "trust fund" Raven stuff was supposed to lead to the Raven/Piper feud. I don't remember the details but I believe Raven dropped hints/comments about someone who'd been a hero to him or something, which would have been Piper, who in actuality was one of Raven's inspirations in the business. -
Detroit should have picked Carmelo..... Knicks with their second win in a row, improve to .500. Another great performance from the Marbury/Crawford backcourt, Mike Sweetney and Penny Hardaway turn in good performances from the bench. Clippers bench looked brutal and Marko Jaric STILL isn't a PG no matter how bad Dunleavy wishes he was. Chris Wilcox is the real deal, look for the Clippers to trade him and for him to become a perennial all-star.

Would Braves fans give up Andruw Jones for 40 yr old Kevin Brown?
-
Milton and Millwood? Good god, these are the LAST two guys the Yankees need. Radke, Clement and Odalis Perez are all MUCH better options, not to mention that they'd be better off bringing back Lieber or Orlando Hernandez. Shit, I'd take David Wells every single day of the week over Milton or Milwood, and he'll come a hell of a lot cheaper too!

Not to mention that Wrath was getting really over with the crowd until losing to Nash in that match, which went like 6-7 minutes if I remember correctly, and resulted in a total de-push for Clarke. WCW would have been better off putting Wrath over Nash and going with Wrath v. Goldberg at Starrcade, though obviously that would only have happened over Nash, Hogan, Savage, Bischoff and others dead bodys... -
Roger Clemens Files For Free Agency On Last Day

Where have Yankees fans talked about how much they hate him? -
The last thing I'd do is question Artest's toughness, guy is as tough as anyone in the league. He always plays hurt. Last season he came back just 10 days after having surgery on his broken hand.
