Sorry for the wait, I've been agonizing over this pick. In the end I have to go with style points over the needs of my team The Royals select Adam Morrison
-
The Royals select Corey Maggette next pick in a few minutes

Radmanovich is one of the best shooters in the NBA. Tim Thomas.....isn't. He's also lazy as fuck. He'll dog it and lose his rotation spot by midseason.

The Knicks will go 82-0, have 5 starters in the all-star game, sweep the post-season awards, go 'FO-FO-FO-FIVE' in the playoffs and then crash a plane into ground zero ...sorry, I was blinded by your cleavage and cocaine nose job, can't be held accountable for my previous statements (and Tim Thomas is a fugazi bum. Not an upgrade for the Clippers. 1) He was on the Suns, 2) He was playing for a contract)

I think Utah will be good, I have them in the playoffs. Derek Fisher was my pick for most underrated pickup for a reason. He's got as much big game experience as anyone, he's a very good shooter, solid defender, knows how to run an offense, he's a difference maker for a team like Utah. Deron Williams is on the rise. They have front court depth. Kirilenko is a great player when healthy. Sloan is a great coach. They have the talent to be a dangerous team.

Well, keeping Phillips over Melky makes no fucking sense to me. Fuck, now I need to listen to WFAN tonight. IF MELKY IS LEFT OFF WE RIOT! EDIT* Bernie and Mo/Moose coaching on Sunday is awesome!

Why wouldn't Melky be on the postseason roster!?! That's insanity. Julio Franco, in his 22nd year in MLB, set a personal record with 5 RBIs for the Mets tonight. He's 48!!! EDIT* Franco was a rookie 7 years before Robinson Cano's FATHER! DAMN IS THAT DUDE OLD!

I think this will be a learning year for Tyrus Thomas. But, the Bulls have a lot of frontcourt depth, so it's not like they need him to reach his potential right away. The way I see it right now Cleveland, Miami and Chicago are going to be the best teams in the East. Indiana and New Jersey should be good, but I wouldn't consider either of them to have a shot at making the finals. Detroit is the wildcard. It wouldn't surprise me to see them rally around everyone writing them off and make a strong playoff run, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see them really feel the loss of Wallace, Flip Saunders to get outcoached, and they get knocked off early.

Hahhaha, I've been meaning to ask Czech this for a while, what's the significance behind 'Felonies!' ???

Oh, and I might as well add, I'm picking a Yankees-Dodgers series, and I'm picking the Yankees in 6. But this is the one thing that would bug me about RJ being out. I think him pitching at Dodger stadium is a gimmie win for us, and the one series where he's best equipped to singlehandedly win us a game. If he's out....I'm more on the fence and wouldn't be surprised to see an LA upset. Call me crazy...

Randy Johnson has a herniated disk in his lower back. He's getting an epidural, but right now he's considered questionable for the playoffs. I don't know what to think about this. On the one hand I hope they can just dope him up and get a couple quality starts out of him, on the other hand, I hate to say it but we might be better off leaving him off the roster rather than risking him dying on us in the middle of a series. The Yankees are going to win or lose with their bats and bullpen though, unless RJ had a dominant 8 inning performance in him (which I wasn't really counting on) I don't see this having a major effect on their chances. Kind of like Pedro and the Mets. And it came up a couple pages back about who people would rather face in the first rd. I can't decide whether I'd rather face the Twins in a 5 game or a 7 game. I guess it doesn't really matter. In a 7 game you're probably looking at Santana 3 times, but then again, the Yankees hit Santana pretty well (not great but better than almost any other team). I don't know, I don't really think it matters in the AL. A's/Central Winner should be a good series either way, and the Twins would be a tougher draw for the Yanks, but I think they'll beat either central team. Historically they have played very well at the Metrodome in October.

El Duque is starting game 1 for the Mets Who are you to doubt El Duque?
