12 team, 8 cat roto, live draft, had the #2 pick 1. Kevin Garnett 2. Gilbert Arenas 3. Ray Allen 4. Yao Ming 5. Chris Bosh 6. Manu Ginobili 7. Quentin Richardson 8. Chris Paul 9. Jamaal Magloire 10. Luol Deng 11. Mike Sweetney 12. Kwame Brown 13. Deron Williams I was very happy with my first 8 picks. I totally spaced on Joel Pryzbilla and he went two picks after I took Magloire, that's the one pick I'm kicking myself over, because I'm sure it will bite me in the ass. Final pick came down to a choice of Williams, Livingston or Telfair. I picked Williams due to maturity and situation, I'm worried about the depth in LA/Livingston getting injured and Telfair getting only 25-28 minutes a night, but I may pick up one of those guys off waivers, what do y'all think about those 3?

I love how both starters have battled deep into the game, that's what the playoffs is all about

Andruw Jones is probably the best centerfielder in the NL, so one misjudged play means nothing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't saying that play itself should cost him the MVP... I'm saying, he's not an MVP player. MVP's don't blow those plays in such an important game. MVPs don't have horrible first ABs in the playoffs. MVPs don't go into the playoffs 6-45 or whatever he was. Andruw Jones for MVP arguments fill me with murderous rage
-
Has it? Well, he won't win anyway, it's just really annoying reading the stupid arguments for him
-
Jones had a real bad read on that ball Hopefully this series KILLS DEAD the notion that he should be MVP
-
I've never been to Houston, but I can only imagine that they have some of the most annoying fans in baseball. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> YEAH UH!

What year did WWE start to lose their edge?

the thing is, HHH was the only logical choice as the guy who ran over Austin, because Austin was the main obstacle to being world champion at the time. It should have been HHH all along, it was the *fake* payoff with Rikishi that really killed it. The whole thing was handled incorrectly. They could have done Steph going with Angle followed by HHH being revealed as the driver and let the fans react naturally, but they got too cute about trying to manipulate the booking. -
What Happened To The Mexicools?

He's reckless and unreliable. Talented? Hell yeah, but talent isn't everything. Of the three Crazy has the best balance of talent, charisma and reliability. -
Mysterio winning, with a heroic underdog buildup to a match w/ Batista/whoever, only to lose but "gain respect" out of the process, would be awesome. With Austin-Hogan on the card (likely) you can put on a match like that, it's actually the perfect time to do it as it shouldn't carry a show but is good enough to get people completely drawn in. I seriously doubt WWE would invest all that time into Mysterio though. I think he should get the title at some point, but realistically even a "he was soooo fucking close" scenario is too much to expect.

Juventud never wrestles. It's either Crazy in singles or Crazy/Psychosis as a team. They clearly don't trust Juvi in the ring, and I can't blame them, yet he's also clearly the most charismatic of the bunch. Of the 3, Crazy is the only one with a long term future in the company, he has a nice blend of work and charisma, and could settle nicely into a Tajiri type role. -

Yeah, they built a whole angle where the only payoff was Steph ending up with Angle.....and then failed to deliver on the months and months of build up. Stuff like that will, and did, piss off the audience. Swerves, aborted angles, non-deliveries, it's representative of the horrible "crash TV" syndrome where the accepted attitude was that you could just jump from one thing to the next, every inaccuracy can be corrected with re-writes, and that only the present moment matters. It's the most self-destructive form of booking.
