How and why is Lashley better? Better technically, sure, but he's also been better at boring the shit out of me during his first two appearances. Monty's got that energy factor, charisma, there's no comparison

We never got the Sabin/Shocker blowoff match, did we? Not like it matters now, but I wanted to see that....

NY-Anaheim Bos-Chicago Angels are up 6-4 in the 7th, so it looks like they'll get homefield. SORIANO, GIVE YOUR HOMEBOYS A HAND!

HAHAHAHAHHAA, JETS WITH A FORCED FUMBLE AND DEFENSIVE TD ON THE FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME! oooooooo.....off-setting penaltys......nevermind

what inning are they in? And my disapointment in Cleveland knows no bounds. I realize they're young, but they have too much talent to get swept out like this

Patriots have been exposed and with the lost of many *KEY* players, they will look human often this season. Luckily the AFC East is hardly competitive since NYJ and Buffalo appear to have already quit the season, so NE will slide into the Playoffs... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sad but true

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2178688 Man, Kwame is fragile. Zen Master's got his work cut out...

Well, the Yanks went with a normal lineup across the board, so much for getting the scrubs some run. Here's a fun fact, since August 25th Womack has a grand total of THREE at bats, and has only appeared in FOUR games. Bellhorn has one ab since the 14th, with only two appearances.

Giants are RAPING St. Louis. 27-7 w/ 7 to go in the 2nd. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA, FUCK YOU MARTZ!

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread
Precious Roy replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
If she's just a simple retarded girl, and Dave Thomas is just the older brother/father looking after her, why would he give her a ride to and from the courthouse to see Michael after confronting him and warning him to stay away from her? Her character probably is retarded, but there's more to it than that... -
Hopefully we see Womack, Lawton, Bellhorn and Sierra

Johnny Gomes is the truth, Crawford is a stud, Cantu had an incredible year in terms of run production from a middle infielder, Lugo is solid, obviously Baldelli when healthy, and then you've got guys like Upton, Gathright and Delmon Young. They have the Cleveland vibe on offense of being young and deep with power and speed, and they have the luxery of so many talented young guys that they pretty much have to move an outfielder or two for some pitching. And that's not even mentioning Aubrey Huff. Plus, Scott Kazmir could be a legit ace, Mets fans are going to bitch about that trade for decades....definitely a team to look out for in the future. And I've always been kind of a closet Brewers fan, I'm not sure if it's the association with beer, or the desire to see them suceed in spite of Bud Selig

I understand all that, and that was the point I was making about the guys with less talent, who get great bookings on name recognition alone. But the guys I named all have the talent to star in other promotions, with or without WWE exposure. Spanky and London were headline indy stars prior to joining the E, no? As was Val Venis down in Mexico prior to the WWE.

Tampa owned the Yankees this year. That team can hit.

Millar knows how to cowboy up!

The WWE's CRAPPY cast-offs can get prominant status in virtually any promotion of their choice, which tells you a lot about the talent other companys have to work with, and the talented lower carders (London, Spanky, Gibson coming back in, Venis, Tajiri, William Regal) would be borderline or bonafide headliners anywhere else. WWE misuses or outright wastes most of their actual wrestling talent though, so it's not like it does them any good outside of keeping potential stars away from the competition.

Nah, what would have been weird was the 1st tiebreaker going out the window if all three teams had the same record, resulting in TWO one game playoffs. The way it actually shook down is completely logical and normal.

I'm not going to gloat.....I'll just say I'm very, very pleased with today's developments.

get the fuck out of here. I've got no problem with Wood, but he CANNOT pull off Iggy Pop. Iggy Pop can't even pull off Iggy Pop. For Mike Myers to play Keith Moon he'd have to grow a set. Can't see it happening. And I like Myers. And the only reason he's doing this is Jamie Foxx and Ray. I hate Hollywood.
-
Actually, he's 100% right about Posada, his numbers are offset by some absolutely horrible at-bats, at the most inopportune times. The reason he walks so much is that he takes a lot of pitches, but he gets himself in trouble doing the same thing. *this is one of the reasons I hate Posada in the 7 hole, with nothing to protect him he's much more vulnerable to ABs like the one against Timlin. I'd feel more comfortable with him hitting ninth, or somewhere with Matsui behind him.
