Harrison will turn 33 this December

No, just two parts, each 90 minutes. PBS is replaying part 2 at 4am tonight/tommorow.

I'm wondering if they'll mention Strong winning Survival of the Fittest on commentary Saturday, with Joe going out first in that match they may choose to ignore it

PLEASE!

teaming Hoyt with Nash is a brilliant idea, I'm pissed I didn't think of it first

Awww man, I forgot this was going to be on this week. Caught most of pt. 2, it was excellent, now there's a Charlie Rose interview with Marty... definitely need to pick up this DVD

Pedro was shut down for the year, taken out of tonight and Sunday's scheduled start. This has been rumoured for about a week, but still a blow to many fantasy owners, myself included.... And what the FUCK happened to our bullpen tonight? Jesus....

I saw Stump the Schwab the other day where they had to name all the members of the Red Sox championship team. Surprisingly, Wake was one of like the 3 or 4 guys who nobody could think of.....no respect....

Killings is a head scratcher, should be a much bigger player than he is, but I think 3LK has been one of their proven merchandise cows and popular acts in house, so I can somewhat understand why they've had him in a holding pattern, it's been a comfortable position to have him in. The good thing is he appears to have remained motivated and ready to step up whenever called on, and I think once they do the 3LK split and team him with Jeff Hardy as rumoured, that should eventually lead to a singles program between the two which will really be his chance to elevate himself in the eyes of a larger audience.

Very true. I think the idea is to let Jarrett share his heat with them initially, with a "we founded this promotion and we've been here since 2002 waah waah" (hopefully short and to the point) bitch fest promo on the first Spike show, with the thought in mind that AMW is a regional good ol boy face team that's too bland to succeed on a national level as faces. They'll be Jarrett's thugs, in the background but capable of making a statement in the ring, and that should play to their strengths, and hopefully AMW can heel it up in the ring enough to make it work past that. A lot of it will depend on how strong AMW's face opponents are (Naturals are weak as fuck, they need to be programmed with Brothers Ray and Devon, or the NAO), and what sort of situations they're put in will really determine how much success the turn has.

Doesn't sound like X Division is going to be the focus to me. But, we're going nowhere and I don't care enough to argue further. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "on top" was a bad choice of words, you got me there. I just assumed people would know what I meant, since I think it's quite obvious that the X-Division will be the focus. But I agree, nothing more to argue about. Lets just watch the shows and see how it shakes out
-
NO! They want him (and Nash) in a percieved position of importance at the start so that guys get a rub. And this entire time, the X Division will be the focus. I made the same point originally, you just missed it, or I didn't verbalize it enough, whatever. are we clear on where I stand now?

Z was a solid pick. He's been totally healthy for 3 years now, and even if he's not keeper material he can help win a league for you this year. He was near the top of my list, and really, I probably should have taken him with one of my picks there.... And that Rasheed pic is awesome

edited my post to fully explain, and apparently you misunderstood the quoted post completely

what's your point? I never ONCE said Spike picked up TNA because they wanted the JJJ show. It's simply reality that he's heavily involved in the product, on the business side as well, that doesn't mean he's what Spike wants on TV. The commercials are COMPLETELY Jarrett free, that doesn't tell you anything? Like I said, they'll keep him in a role of relative importanct, but minimize his tv time
-
I haven't heard ANYONE say JJ was the reason Spike picked up the show...

or.... Lamar Odom

Chauncey Billups rd. 3 starting in a minute or two...

You bastards stole the next 3 dudes on my list.... Give me 5

Face: The Naturals, a 3LK combo, Jerrelle Clark & Mikey Batts Heel: AMW, Diamonds in the Rough combo, Team Canada combo, It's weak at the moment, but due for a shakeup. New Age Outlaws will be back together soon, The Deadly Brothers coming in, and if rumours are to be believed Konnan will probably be teaming with Shocker or Apollo and Hardy/Killings will team up. Plus, Kazarian is likely to be back and teaming with Shane/Bentley again, and you can probably count on a pair of X faces teaming up at some point, wouldn't be surprised to see Lynn used in a mentor role for someone.

I'm just not convinced he'll be all over the show like people think. Mike thinks he'd take all the credit for a great opening rating, but I just don't see him being used in any sort of position that could justify that. The X-Division is the bread and butter, Spike knows it, Dixie knows it, and the bookers know it. The new booking team kept Jarrett's use short and to the point on the dark Impacts, to critical success, and I don't see why that would change now, with the success of Impact on Spike riding on it. The days of 10 minute + promos are over, hopefully. I really believe that everyone involved understands that Jarrett can be in a role of relative importance, without being all over the show.
