He's an agent.

Yes, because Rd. XV of HHH-HBK is exactly what we need

99. He's Prince's favorite wrestler

I might be in the minority, but I enjoy JBL's work (to a degree) and loathe his promos. I don't want him in the world title picture either though. Batista/Brock is the only SD title match that I'd pay for at this point. MAYBE Batista/Eddie, if I thought Eddie had a chance to actually win the belt.....

I'm gonna mail Marty some papes

Called it to the fucking letter. And they couldn't come up with better jobbers for LOL2005 than CONFEDERATE CURRENCY and some asshole?!?!

yeah, I'd pull the trigger if I was ATL, no question. Harrington is a pretty good player, good defender, but he's not a 4 and they really don't need him with Smith, Childress AND Williams. I'd have taken Paul if I was ATL too, because they really need a PG, but the Williams hype was rediculous to the point that they probably thought they'd be reliving the 84 draft if they passed him up. ATL needs to be after Dickau or Damon Stoudamire. If I was Dumars I don't think I'd bail on Darko so quick, you had the balls to draft him #2 so stick it out, but Harrington is a good fit for them so it's a coin flip

We have a winner

Isn't that what they want?

He eliminated a couple guys in the 6-way match, he beat Booker on TV leading up to the PPV...WTF?!? Christian marks are WAY too demanding.

Oh man, I'm sensing weeks of bad vignettes from the Cleveland County jail. That would be an awesome way to introduce the Boogey Man if they hadn't already teased him on TV

How can anyone say the Rey feud is "killing Eddie's career" with a straight face? Because he's losing matches? A good feud isn't about winning and losing matches, and this is the best feud WWE has run in a LONG time. I know it's trendy for everyone to bitch about including Rey's kid in it, but pro-wrestling has been using angles like this for YEARS, and it's a joke to classify this one as wrestlecrap compared to even the recent classics like Angle lusting after Sharmell or the Kane/Lita saga. The family thing is totally something that would be done in Mexican wrestling, and it really hasn't been too over the top. The Rey/Eddie angle has worked, it's had believeable layers and dimensions, it's changed directions, and they're right on track to step it up a notch and finish it at SummerSlam where Eddie will go over, putting the final nail in his coffin I suppose....

People are complaining that he jobbed to Booker because "Booker hasn't done much in a while?" Before the draft Booker WON a feud with Kurt Angle, and they're pushing Sharmell down our throats. He's a top 4 face at this point. Now, I'm not the biggest Booker fan these days, but I can tolerate and respect him, and people need to accept that he's going to get a steady but unspectacular push on SD! And to his credit, he busted out some new/old moves in the GAB match, and looked highly motivated, possibly Marc Mero syndrome, but a good sign either way. As for Christian, he isn't a WWF main-eventer. He just isn't. That isn't a bad thing, he's a good hand, a great entertainer, but he's not a guy who the general public will buy as a world champion. He's too small, and his work is too basic. He's perfect as an ace midcard heel, a US Title guy, a tag team champion, maybe a one-off title shot here and there, but that's it. He hasn't got a ton of face time on SD! yet, but wasn't he the last guy eliminated in that SD title/#1 contender match after the draft? That has to count for something. I love Christian, and I've been defending him as a single for years, but I'm so fucking SICK of seeing people bitch and complain about how unfair the system is to him. Fuck that. The guy has a great spot.

First time watching the WWF?

With Batista as champion, and Undertaker working face, Benoit is a third fiddle. People need to accept that. "Lowering" him to the US Title is better than being an aimless semi-main JTTS, at least this way they can give him some direction and purpose. That said, I have no issue with him winning the US Title if they have a legitimate desire to let him run with it, build up the belt, and then put over a younger heel down the road. Kind of like what they tried to do with his world title run, except maybe they can get it right this time. I'd go so far as to let him hold the thing into 2006, possibly past the next Mania if they can dig up enough contenders along the way. Given the way SD's midcard looks, they'll probably need that long to build up a legitimately fresh heel. CM Punk perhaps? If he's going to get a month or two with it just to drop it to Guerrero or Christian or the Boogey Man it's a waste of time and they'd be better off leaving it on Orlando Jordan. That also being said, I'm apparently in the smallest of minoritys, but I like Orlando Jordan and wouldn't object to him going over Benoit, IF THEY HAVE A PLAN FOR HIS RUN, which we know they don't since he hasn't done shit since getting the belt.

But he is able to control the crowd. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's pavlovian response, not anything special about what Hassan does. Would you credit La Resistance with "controling the crowd" as well?

I figured they were going to base the London-Juventud feud in part on Juvi doing the 450. London kicks out of Juvi's....wins with his.....that would be the logical way to go as anyone who's seen Juvi before WWE knows he uses the move and it wouldn't make sense for the guy to just stop using one of his best moves...... This news is either BS fed to the Torch to get Juvi over as a "loose cannon" or the 'E being incredibly thick again, it's so hard to tell these days......

I thought if anything, given the subject matter, that Tenenbaums was overly simplistic and probably the least "smart" of his films. I also don't get how someone can say that only dorks like that movie and then turn around and praise Rushmore, which from my experience carrys a rabidly dorky fanbase, whereas Tenenbaums has more people who saw it and liked it but don't carry it around like a badge. My vote goes to The Life Aquatic BTW, brilliant...

How does taking Hassan off TV and replacing him with stepped up terrorist innuendo buy them time with UPN? Isn't that exactly what UPN doesn't want?

What Do You Think Eddie's Secret Is ?

Don't be overdramatic. This angle, if the payoff is what we all think it is, isn't going to kill anyone's career -

Well, it was either that or 'Nick being Eddie's drug mule -
This is one of those times where I think Meltzer is either being fed bad info, or misreading the info, or reporting something that was nothing more than an idea someone threw out. I REALLY doubt that BEFORE all this shit with UPN they would have taken the belt off of Batista, who they've put a TON of work into w/ HHH's most convincing elevation yet, in favor of a character like Hassan, who they think so highly of they jobbed him in 3 minutes to Cena his last night on RAW. If Hassan got that shot it was to do a clean job, it's a classic Hogan-style title defense for Batista. NOW however? This could be JBL all over again.....

I really don't like the idea of Eddie having fucked Rey's wife, so..... Domanick is the son of Eddie and one of his former mistresses, who Rey adopted and raised as his own to help Eddie save his marriage. This plays into Eddie's twisted notion of "familia" and Rey being a good guy who's tried to help Eddie and now wants to protect the son that he's grown to love as his own from being hurt And if they really want to get freaky that ex-mistress is Chyna -
It was supposed to be a pic of Masters....
