Joey has been feeding the fans the same bullshit since 2005, and like fools everyone believes him. I still remember him giving us release dates for The Growth, and saying it's for real, and then a few weeks after that interview album would get pushed back. But I won't front, I always felt Jigga was jealous of Buddens skills ever since the Pump It Up (Remix) when Joe outshines him. It's kind of easy to feed into the whole "Budden's lazy" thing but that wasn't really the case. The reason why he didn't release much of anything the past year or so is because he knew Def Jam wasn't going to put out any of his shit. What was the point of him constantly releasing stuff if Def Jam was going to keep him on the shelf? A lot of people thought MM3 would've been out before now but he waited until he got his release from Def Jam to put it out. He didn't want to get hot and make Def Jam keep him. I truly believe that all will be well once he lands on a label that's actually willing to promote him and put his music out.

It isn't the Def Jam of the 90's, but still Jay keeps the money flowing in there. His American Gangster flopped incredibly hard. I think he promised to go platinum and barely went gold. Rihanna, Kanye, Ne-Yo, and Jeezy all killed the charts this year. He barely even promoted American Gangster, and still went gold, it could eventually go platinum. I ain't even tryin to defend Jigga, I ain't like that dude all that much, but it is what it is. I've always respect Budden was a lyricist, I even liked his 1st solo CD even though most people thought it was sub-par. Mood Muzik 3 is sick, but it seems like he ain't even put the effort to try to get a deal and release a solo CD. Dude rather just make mixtapes and be a bum his whole life. He mentioned in recent interviews that he's label shopping right now and may have something worked out by the 1st quarter of 2008. He's also trying to use the success & buzz that MM3 will generate as leverage.

No Ludacris mention? He was pretty good in Crash.

Which is why I'm against Kobe coming to Chicago. With all the guys we'd have to give up, we'd become the new Lakers. Also, why piss away 3 solid years of playoff experience and break up our nucleus? Kobe is not necessarily the answer here. A good low post player should be the primary objective here, in my opinion.

The whipping Kazarian got was his punishment for losing the match.

State Your Unpopular Opinions

I agree with you on Beth but come on, Kristal is one of the more overlooked divas in terms of looks. I nearly jumped outta my seat when she made her ass clap last night on Smackdown -

*Randy Orton & John Cena are not that bad in the ring. *I'd take a good brawling match (Austin/Rock) over a technical wresting match (Benoit/Jericho) anyday. *As you can tell from my avy, Kristal Marshall is one of the most underrated divas on the roster in terms of looks. I hear Maria this & Maria that but what about Kristal?? *I like the Vince Mcmahon Kiss my Ass Club segments. Not that I actually enjoy seeing a 60 yr old man's ass on TV but they usually end up hilarious (intentionally & unintentionally). Hell, when I saw Regal actually kiss his ass I probably laughed for like, a day straight. And I practically died when Austin whipped his ass w/ that belt & hearing JR yelling about welts. -
Agreed completely.

Tna's NEW "authority figure" is a former wwe booker !
Da Maintenance Man replied to a topic in TNA Wrestling
I have no problems with any of these. I like a ground-based, more realistic match. The X-Division is dead in the water anyway. It's spot monkeys with Styles, Daniels & Joe thrown in. Styles, Daniels and Joe are the only ones taken seriously. No one cares about Dutt, Sabin, Shark Boy, etc. Cornette doesn't play well with others? OK. That doesn't affect me as a fan. Cornette has a old-fashioned view of wrestling? GOOD! That's what TNA needs. TNA needs an old fashioned view of wrestling? If TNA was to go to an old fashioned style wouldn't that contradict everything the promotion is supposed to be about? TNA claims to be cutting edge & innovative. And those spotfests you mentioned, some people like them, me included. -
The WWE Backlash '06 Thread...
Da Maintenance Man replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Vince will end up getting "struck down" by some pyro which they'll play up as being an "act of God". Vince will end up paralyzed & in a wheel chair on Raw tomorrow. -
Best post in the thread. I'd do the same too, for the record.

I think both the MITB & the IC title is on the line. It may have been hard to hear over the music but RVD said something during that promo about walking out of Backlash with the MITB AND the IC title.

I read on Allhiphop that Bizzare was NOT shot. He was in his home in Atlanta, GA.

It's not even a Death Valley Driver, it's a standing Fireman's Carry. But I've been saying forever, when he did the sitout version, it looked SO much better, but the F-U in it's most used form is only above the Worm in my book. Also, might I note that Cena is frickin lazy, even on little obvious things. Like when he came back from the "stabbing" at Survivor Series, he did not even bother to tape up. You see this dude in darn good shape who was supposedly stabbed in the kidney or something and he has no scar or anything. At least tape up. That's another reason why I don't like him. It's not just the rap gimmick or the lame finisher, I can get around both(I like D'Lo and Ron Killings on the rape side and I liked Too Cool, Dreamer, and Raven on the weak finisher side) but he's just lazy on little things and heck, I don't think even Hogan was made as invincible as Cena has been booked. Another thing, what's this "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" thing? He's a thug, or at the very least a whigger, I'll even give him the Eminem white boy rapper deal. Hustling has to do with drugs or pimps, doesn't it? Loyalty and Respect are more mafia things as I see it, but it's like he's just soooo watered down that I don't think anyone in the real rap community(beside this Trademarc fellow who seems to like him) could take him vaguely seriously, nor do it. I know I'm rambling here, but I'm getting to my point. I don't care if he's ghetto or if he came from a rich town or whatever. He comes off like a total poser, and he has no edge to him, which is essential to being the underdog rapper. If he wants to go down this way, he should be the corporate rapper, like 50 Cent. That's how I see him, anyhow. Lots of "bling bling" and almost no substance. "Hustling" isn't just about selling drugs & shit, like most mainstream hip-hop wants you to believe. To me at least, hustling is just working hard in general, in whatever you do.
