  1. I don't see what people's personal taste in music has to do with the end of the world. Let people like what they wanna like. I'm 19 & I don't give a fuck about the beatles...*shrugs*

Will we see another year long title reign?

He's not? Edge says hello. At least he doesn't bury his opponents on the mic by pointing out their legit flaws.

    Who do you hate less?

Definitely Cena. For pretty much all the reasons everybody else has pointed out so far. From what I've read, Cena seems to be the exact opposite of HHH backstage. He doesn't play politics, hold other talent down, etc. He just seems like a true team player & someone that's easy to work with, which is good from the administrative standpoint. As far as in-ring goes, Triple H is the better wrestler. I don't think Cena is quite as bad as some here make him out to be though. From what I've seen, Cena seems to perform better at PPVs & any type of big match situations. Not that he turns into Benoit or anything but he doesn't always go through those same exact motions everytime. One of his most recent standout performances has to be his match against Edge on that Thursday Night Raw. If he was to step it up in every match like he did in that one & if some more edge was added to his character then I'd love him again just I did in '03. If they keep Cena's character going in this stale direction then I hope the belt goes on Trips at WM. I mean, I'm a Cena fan but I think his push needs to be given a rest for awhile anyway.

Does Triple H even want to be a heel?

I've been saying this for ages. Back when he made his debut on Smackdown, nobody knew who he was! He was a nobody with no gimmick or character at all so he pretty much HAD to bring it, as far as in-ring skills go (& he did a pretty good job of it). Once he got more popular, WWE watered him down (both, in the ring & character-wise).

    Agreed. Completely.

Does Triple H even want to be a heel?

This is very true, but it was also compounded because he isn't a very good worker. He spouts off that he is a badass, yet people see right through his lame punches and even lamer offense. It started with Jericho. People could easily Cena wasn't on Jericho's level. It was then compounded with the program with Angle and got to the point where people wouldn't boo Kurt even when he called out the troops and Jesus Christ. That's because they see Kurt as legit and Cena as a phony. Even if he had his "edge", he'd still get similar reactions because people can tell Cena isn't World Champion material in the ring. Just thinking about this whole thing again, I wonder if Cena would be getting the same reactions he's getting now if he had stayed on Smackdown this past summer... But anyway, I still don't think Cena is as bad as some people make him out to be though he's far from being the best worker in the company. He seems to always bring it in big match situations (check out his PPV record & most recently, his performance against Edge on that Thursday Raw). While I DO think that he deserves a run w/ the belt, there's no way in hell it should've been THIS long. I'm actually hoping that Trips wins the belt back at WM, not because of hatred of Cena but WWE seems to all of a sudden know how to book him when he doesn't have the belt as opposed to when he does.

Is this off that new Fabolous mixtape? If so then I'll listen to this later as I just dl'ed the entire tape not so long ago.

Could a double turn be on the cards?

HHH gets pops to begin with. Insert the babyface that everyone hates and I can hear LOUD "Lets Go Hunter" chants at Mania. And I'm sorry, but Cena has to shoulder some of the blame here too. It can't be a total coincidence that this all started when he started to phone it in and half ass it both in the ring and on the mic last Summer. Actually, he was phoning it in & half assing it in the ring before last summer. How do you know WWE isn't telling him to wrestle a certain way? I just don't see a logical explanation for how he can be so good in the ring at his debut & turn to shit so quickly. I don't believe that wrestlers can FORGET skills.

Could a double turn be on the cards?

I dunno, from what I've seen/remember Chicago crowds are generally pretty hot & less smarky. There's a chance they might not boo Cena. Oh please. This has been more or less constant for the last six months, almost every single week. It has nothing to do with smark crowds if every city is doing it. They've cheered terrorists, primadonnas, anti-Americans and sleazbags over him all around the horn. They had to cut to a phony crowd shot for his title win at Rumble. They had to keep him off the show all night last night because of it. And when he finally showed up, he got booed out of the building, against yet another top heel. This has nothing to do with smark crowds. John Cena is a monumental bust as top face and world champion, and you, and the WWE can blame Angle and Jericho and smart crowds and Vanilla Ice for doing the gimmick ten years earlier and whomeber else you want to blame it on, but it the end, Cena has failed and they should have moved on a long time ago. I wouldn't call it completely constant. The boos calmed down those few weeks after Cena lost the title to Edge at NYR. Now it seems as if the boos are slowly starting to come back for him. It's still inconsistent. I think part of the reason is that Cena is more entertaining when he DOESN'T have the title as opposed to when he does have the title. I'm not blaming Cena personally for anything as it's obvious that the company doesn't know what the fuck to do with him & is shoving him down everybody's throats.

I dunno, from what I've seen/remember Chicago crowds are generally pretty hot & less smarky. There's a chance they might not boo Cena. His crowd reactions have been pretty inconsistent over the past few weeks/months anyway. But really, even though this WM card doesn't really look too good there's a chance that it could be decent still. There have been some cards in the past which, didn't look good on paper but ended up delivering.

Things That Annoy Us About John Cena

http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/colum...amveltri03.html Have you read a single fucking post in this thread? You honestly think we only dislike Cena because of his workrate? 85% of that is shit that WWE is MAKING him do. The other 15% is petty bullshit drummed up by bias & fickleness. If Chris Benoit did some of the stuff on that list you wouldn't say SHIT.

Does anybody think WWE is destroying Shelton Benjamin's career?

He lacks charisma, blows spots, and I doubt I'd ever buy him as a main eventer. You'd think Shelton was Jeff Hardy in '03 the way some people are talking. He doesn't botch stuff THAT much. Not that I've seen at least.

Is Carlito a better wrestler then we think?

I dunno. When Carlito first debuted on Smackdown he was way better in the ring than he is now. Seems as if he got worse little by little as time went on. By the time he came to Raw he seemed slow & lazy in the ring & his offense consisted of mainly low blows & chokes. I always thought that maybe WWE is telling him to cut back on the fancy moves & do more of the heel stuff since that is his character - a cheap heel. Hell, I remember him doing a slingshot elbow drop on John Cena in his debut match! It really makes you wonder though, how some guys on the roster would look out there if you were to take WWE's constrictive wrestling style off them.

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

I played on Legend & those submission matches are brutal. And not in a good way. I was going through season mode one time with Jericho & faced Benoit in one. Match lasted a ridiculous 40 minutes. I had his torso completely in the red & he just wouldn't tap out and I was mashing those buttons like a madman. Yukes needs to come up with a new submission system for the next game. Blisters = not fun.
