I did this, and Czech's backyard wrestling thing. I spent most of my time as a child obsessed with charging into some kind of ancient battle, usually against my brother. I would have claimed to have been myself, but really I was pretending to be Robin Hood. At a certain age I was the playground bully, and would routinely beat other children up. I'm glad that I grew out of that before I became a chav.
