  1. Honestly, I would like to see Christopher Daniels in WWE with his preacher gimmick. The only problem there is people would immediately say he needs to feud with (or essentially be fed to) the Undertaker. He's decent enough on the mic, and could have some fun matches with a lot of people there. Same for AJ though for some reason I don't see WWE letting him do 90% of his moveset. They would probably think kids would confuse him with Evan Bourne or something.

I'd like to see Kurt Angle back there also, when his TNA deal runs out. If the man weren't so damn small and WWE actually had a Cruiserweight division, I would say Austin Aries in a heartbeat.

  2.

Watch out people. This song will grow on you like a cancerous cyst. Same repercussions too.

It was on the Sliding Doors Soundtrack, too. For those of you who could not tell or are not homosexual.

I have this on my Ipod. It's been there for several years. I remember when I first heard it on the radio, and couldn't believe it was the same group responsible for Barbie Girl. Pretty damned good song. I like the dark, heavy part towards the end. The singer is cute as hell too. Wonder whatever happened to them?

  3. So, Orton actually punted Flair? It was hard to tell, seeing as how he missed by a country mile, and Flair didn't sell like he'd been kicked in the skull. I figured he was just teasing a punt, and pulled the kick at the last second, just to mess with Batista.

  4. Whoever does Kennedy's website said he's 100% healthy, and will soon have an announcement regarding his future. So, maybe he didn't get hurt Monday? My guess is it was probably that sick (not to mention sloppy) back suplex on the Orton, Monday night that sealed his fate. I thought Kennedy was trying to emulate Dr. Deaths Backdrop Driver with the way he drilled Orton.

  5. The only good thing that came out of the main event was the shockingly well-executed spinning kick from Mr. Kennedy. Honestly didn't know he was that limber. Aside from that, this show was horrible. I had no qualms with the girlfriend's suggestion to watch the season premiere of Jon and Kate plus 8 on TLC for the majority of the first hour of the show. I see Cena has been put in a match with Big Show with a stipulation that he can't possibly succeed with. I don't know about everyone else, but I have no idea how Cena is going to win a submission match.....

  6. I definitely don't mind seeing Raven back. It's been long overdue. Douglas was looking like shit the last few times he wrestled for TNA, so I have to admit, I'm not that excited to see him back. It's bad when one of my more fond memories of him was the scalping match with Raven where Douglas puked in the ring.

  7. Oh and for next month, guess it's a seven man KOTM match since it's Slammiversary Seven. So I would guess these four, Joe, Styles, and either Booker, Steiner, or Nash? I'm betting Booker v. Nash at the next ppv, which leaves Steiner as the guy to take the seventh spot in all likelihood.

BTW, even though he's been completely forgotten I assume Lashley will take the last spot in the KOTM match. Kinda retarded they've waited so long to use him, but he's a way more logical choice than Steiner, Nash, or Booker.

Are they still planning to do anything with Lashley? I thought they decided against using him since he never signed a contract. So, pretty much, we got about 3 weeks of Lashley walking out, and Angle smiling at him, with no pay off.

  8. Tragedy, just a damn tragedy. I still miss the guy. I hadn't heard anything at all about the accident, and the next morning when I was pulling into the parking lot at school, a guy ran up to me and asked if I heard BRET Hart was killed last night? I said you're fucking kidding, and went on about my way. It wasn't until I was in one of my computer classes, that I pulled up a wrestling site, and Owen's death was the top story everyone was talking about. I was shocked about Owen's passing. God, I miss seeing him perform.

  9. Here's a little something for everyone. Stan Bush has rerecorded "The Touch", complete with a new music video, in an attempt to get it incorporated into Revenge of the Fallen. This new version features a "Linkin Park sound", for lack of a better term. This definitely isn't for everyone. My suggestion is listen to the song without watching the video. IMO, this is an acceptable remake, aside from the really out of place rapping. Prepare to either be impressed or feel your childhood and ears have been raped.

The original for those that may have forgotten, or never experienced:

  10. Really though, how many finishers has he gone through? I may even be forgetting a couple.

    The Showstopper - chokeslam

Missle Dropkick - used during 'Show's "slim days" in late 1999, most notably in his match against Viscera

The Final Cut - Eye of the Hurricane

The Alley Oop - Flapjack from a Powerbomb position

Dragonsleeper - used for a couple weeks, before Undertaker decided to start using it on his own and name it "Takin' Care of Business"

Spear (aka WWE generic big man finisher #42-B) - Used a couple times while teaming with Kane

Knockout Punch - because WWE can't decide from one week to the next whether Undertaker or 'Show is "the best pure striker in WWE"

Camel Clutch - since 'Show is now apparently a submission specialist because he's challenged John Cena to a "match he can't possibly win" at Extreme Rules

Sometimes I wonder if I watch RAW because I enjoy it, or out of habit. Wrestling has been a Monday Night tradition with me for the past 15 years, and since I'm not a football fan, there isn't much else on. Cena's promos are just painful to sit through anymore. I can't even remember what movie he was referencing last night, but after a couple seconds, I decided to flip over to the same Family Guy reruns that TBS always shows. The Santina stuff was funny for one night (OK 2 since he started using the Billy and Chuck theme the night after WM25), but now that he's dropped the Miss Wrestlemania crown to Vickie, hopefully that's over with.

You forgot the Hoglog. It was basically like the Eye of the Hurricane but with a legdrop instead. Also, he used the Cobra Clutch and a Swinging Cobra Clutch Slam when he was in ECW.

Damn, how could I forget those? Alright, now the list looks even more sad.

    The Showstopper - standard Chokeslam

Missle Dropkick - used during 'Show's "slim days" in late 1999, most notably in his match against Viscera

The Final Cut - Eye of the Hurricane

The Alley Oop - Flapjack from a Powerbomb position

Spear (aka WWE generic big man finisher #42-B) - Used a couple times while teaming with Kane

Hog Log - The previously mentioned Final Cut, but using one of his legs rather than his arm to drop the opponent

Cobra Clutch Backbreaker - Sometimes this would simply be used as a submission. Other times though (and this definitely looked more devastating than the Showstopper, IMO), he would lift the opponent just prior to the submission, drop their back across his knee, then throw them off to the side, sometimes resulting in the opponent doing a full spin before hitting the ground.

  12. I would love to see Punk win the World title in his hometown. The place went nuts when he beat Regal a couple months ago, so it would be a nice treat for the hometown crowd. I still have this feeling though that after all the attempted cash-ins of his briefcase, when he finally is able to get the opening bell rung, he will lose. Doesn't WWE have a reputation for humiliating people in front of their hometowns?
