Penn didn't have to put himself forward; he didn't have to go over to Iraq. He is the UBER Hollywood pussy.

Come on Mike, just because someone is a douche doesn't mean we have to give them a hard time. I mean we as a board deal with your crap far more than almost anyone else here, and no one tears into you with nearly the severity that you tear into anyone who doubts you. And your posts are so long and LBL...

I have a couple of female friends I laugh at, and even fewer that I actually am ACTUALLY driven to laughter by. But I would not say that it's a higher ratio than among men. We all just focus on the ladies more, and don't tend to notice ALL the BORING guys out there.

JasonX you you you HATER! If Sean Penn didn't want to be mocked for seasons on Southpark, he didn't have to open his fucking mouth. He could have taken it as good clean fun which it WAS, and moved on. But no. He KNOWS he's right about EVERYTHING. And he has to bitch at Parker and Stone for disagreeing w/ him. He's an entertainment pussy, and he's about to be screwed by a couple of true entertainment dicks, if I'm any judge. Not my analogy, but I think it fits. BTW if you couldnt see this movie mocking EVERYONE including the creators, you're blind.

I didn't assume shit. I've seen exactly as much crossfire as was on that clip. I'm not defending the show. You are. You're the one assuming reasons for their responses. You're the one claiming things about their show, a show you've never seen. I get the feeling you don't like Stewart, and are taking every opportunity to diss him. I just don't undrstand why. It's not like he's actually deserving of your disgust. I know THAT much. Is it because he likes Kerry far more than Bush?
-
if their show is entertainment, why didnt they take advantage of the million times Stewart defended his show as such by saying "Yeah, well so is ours." They didn't because they'd love to claim that they actually ask real questions to get real newsworthy quotes. The fact that they dont is the only funny thing about your so called entertainment show.

They missed the point. (of pearl harbor)

MikeSC/Greatone, don't you see that you're kind of in the minority here? I think Stewart is a little irate that the Daily Show asks tougher questions than some of the crossfire shows. Instead of asking "what do you think GO!" he brings up points, he brings up issues. Then he makes a funny voice and adjusts his tie. But The Daily Show is still more probing than some "news" shows, and that's laughable.

Maybe he's taking care of that kid.

Remember the price of freedom: $1.05 America, Fuck Yeah! The real message of the movie? The metaphor about Pussies, Dicks, and Assholes.

Bob we get it. I think the first ten pictures will suffice...

I guess that ensures my vote for Cobb over Nader...

Come on. Bush on E? That's gold Jerry! Gold!

JasonX you obviously haven't seen the genious of Baseketball, Orgasmo, Southpark the movie... Or most of the recent years of southpark. In other words, one trick ponies, not by a LONG shot. Dork.

But then what do you DO with all the grass clippings you bag? -
I'd just like to say that Mike embodies at LEAST 35% of what's wrong with America.

Eh, just cuz you didn't do it right, (or in the case of compost WON'T) doesn't mean it's wrong, bud. -
This game has become so MTV it's embarrasing. Whereas the first game was NOT. I mean the first THPS. I haven't played one seriously since THPS2... Have they changed the scoring system at all, or does a manual still give a +1x multiplier to the score of the trick in the way it did in THPS2?

AoO, I think it's fucking par the course. IIRC a lot of these people are kidnapped while they're asleep.

Have you ever heard or compost or mulching, you fucking wastrel Here's a fucking tip: that which grass uses to make itself bigger, greener, etc. is IN that grass you're bagging and trashing. Put it back into your lawn, not the landfills. Shit, clippings aren't polluting or anything, this is just waste that I disagree with. Efficency and Ecology go hand and hand, and I wish people would see that. Heres something else I'd do. Create an anti-fatty campaign and anti-fatty movement as sweeping as the anti-smoking campaign we have now. Obese people are going to be such an economic drain on this country for so many reasons it's staggering. Make PE a daily routine in schools of all levels. I don't care how smart Americans become, if they keep missing work because they're sick from Diabetes or Hypertension, they won't help us out. And this problem needs to be NIPPED in the BUD. -

Over pollution? I suppose the first and foremost concern is the efficency of America, I'd force efficency onto people through economic modifiers, since no one takes ecological impact into account when they total the cost of ANYTHING in this country. Do something like Taiwan did with their garbage. Use state supplied garbage bags, have them cost a lot, and only collect trash from those bags. Levy large fines on people not having their trash removed. Of course leave recycling alone. You'd find much more recycling and reduction of waste when it becomes ecologically advantagious to do so. Just fucking tax gas. Tax gas guzzlers. subsidize gas efficency. Make coal power cost more than nuclear, and make nuclear cost more than wind water and solar. Make people lobby for any availible renewable sources in their area. In terms of pollution, figure out what the minimum possible amount of pollution for any given industry is, and make that if not legally required, economically advantagious. Again, tax high polluters unmercifully. If we're paying medical bills for athesma et al, at least charge the polluters (ditto a new superfund) -
Which wetlands? What wetlands. We need wetlands everywhere, not just Florida. Did Kerry get to talk about that? And what was up with all the logging talks. Who CARES about American forestry anyways. It's doing fine...
