I fail to see what true life in prison does any less than execution in preventing further crime.

I was interested to notice that his Widow is a big proponent of stem cell research. For me, anything that can bring about a vaccine or cure for Alzheimer's would be a blessing. My grandfather's deterioration was so painful for my father, uncle, and grandmother; no one should have to experiance that from either side. I suppose there are worse ways to go, but I can't think of many.

You gotta admit FFVII is pretty well directed in terms of visuals. I'm actually shocked by the amount of hate this game is getting by so many people. Even if you take into account that it looked like total ass compared to suik 1 in many ways (but not all ways) the game was great. There are just so many memorable scenes that the game can't be ignored. I don't care how detailed a game's battle engine is, if it CAN'T tell a story it's no good.

I see no reason for Joe to drop it. He is not stale. He is just getting better and better each season he holds the belt. If he loses it, it should be at the end of a feud, not just to some title match. I love almost everything Punk does, but he doesn't need the belt now, and I don't THINK it would do ROH any better. Joe is just so dominant and carries it so well, I see NO reason to take it off him.

I'm against it, I feel that it's not worth the costs or the time. Life in prison, hard labor. Repay your debt to society until you die. Work on getting Life in Prison to mean LIFE in prison. Rapists should never go free, killers should never go free.

Oh deal with it AoO, you blatently deserve to pay any high price you end up paying simply because you knew how inefficent your truck is, and the same goes towards anyone driving something with less than 20 MPG. So it's finally been 17 years since the last brood of periodical Cicadas have popped out to bother people, and it's going to happen again. If you live east of the Great Plains in America, I'm told that you will be dealing with these numerous bugs. I barely remember much about the last brood (I was four) but if what I'm hearing is correct, we will have up to 100,00 bugs per acre around tree-filled areas. The bugs, although harmless, are clumsy and will probably bump into people willy-nilly. They're planned to appear on May 1st, anyone remember the last set of periodical Cicadas?

Is it me or have these things got a LOT louder this weekend? I'm having to kill them because they're sitting on my window's exterior, keeping me AWAKE!!!

Like, I'm not going to tell a friend not to smoke, since they're my friend and I put up with my friends' quirks (unless they were REALLY my friend then I'd try to get them to quit if they wanted) but if not? Smoke smells like shit. What the FUCK is the difference between stinking of sweat or stinking of stale cigs? You still -STINK-. And it's really really bad for you. Practically all the points I said about obesity can be pointed to cigs, and cigs cost more. So don't get all defensive, especially if you find fat people unsightly.

Look, the point is, fatness is distasteful. It's like smelling bad, or you know, a case of the chicken pox. People don't particularly like to be around people that don't look good to them. I emphasize to them, because anyone can ignore or be used to anything, but the majority of people I know find obesity to be unpleasant. The state of being that overweight usually entails a list of flaws that come with it. One usually sweats more, is weaker, slower, and tend to be more bitter. Its not that skinny people are any better. Christ, the most beatiful girl I can think of now has said she wants to drop 10 lbs. I think she carries it beatifully, but even she knows she's not ACTUALLY fat. I could definitely stand to slim down and tone up, lose another 5-15 lbs. But I am certainly not fat. Again, fatness and being fat is one of the top most STUPIDEST and DISGUSTING things a person can do. It most certainly reflects negatively on them as people. If you can't have the respect for yourself to live in a body which is fit and able, the BASIC respect to live in a body that won't shut down by the time you're forty, the self-esteem to do SOMETHING for your body that is constructive, how can you treat anyone differently? You obviously have self-esteem issues, everything from your username to this very topic prove that. If you weren't worried about your weight you wouldn't post about it. But you are. All you have to do is have the restraint to exercise five times a week. Go jogging, do pushups and dips and squats. Stop eating candy, cookies, cake, and sweetened liquids. At least buy diet versions. You WILL lose weight, and eventually you too can be slim, or so much slimmer that you will seem slim. This whole "I'm fat, leave me alone" thing has to go. I make nasty comments to smokers I don't particularly like because it's gross and bad for you. If someone never uses deoderant or antipersperant, I tell them they smell. Instead of offending the nose, you're offending the eyes. And you're offending the heart. People who have the restraint to live their lives within a set of guidelines that will keep them in shape see in fat people the total abandonment of self-restraint. Hey, cheesecake is YUMMY, lets all eat. And then sleep. If I demand something of myself, I'm going to demand some of that from other people. If you don't want to live by exactly my standards fine. But to totally ignore your health for TV and Twinkies? Thats sick.
