I would say "throwback" is a noun, one would say "a throwback" as in something is a throwback. I would say "retro" is an adjective. Throwback as an adjective IS slang, but not exactly complicated slang. If you really want to know what Outkast is, go buy Stankonia from a Used CD store. I've had like seven half shots of everclear in one night. Just have a handy chaser ready... It really doesn't feel good but it's quick at least. Jungle juice is (IMO) a waste of time.
