It just feels like Americans don't trust the person who's reasonable and direct. They don't LIKE being told that, gosh, black churches are sometimes loud and fiery places. They want to be told that they're going to be taxed less and America is doing okay. Because, for some reason, a lot of Americans think that that's true, that even under Bush, all we needed was a president who was going to tax less and protect us. Even though it has meant that we ended up poorer and less safe as a nation, some people, especially people of a certain generation, still believe Reagan's lies. It's unfortunate.

I'm just saying that its far less efficent to fly somewhere than it is to drive somewhere. It takes more energy to keep a plane moving at the speed of flight than it takes to keep a car moving 65 mph...

You must be out of your ever-loving mind if you think flying uses less gas than driving. Maybe if you get a superheavy jet full to capacity... Trains, though, DO use less gass, far less gas. If they received 1/2 the attention that we put towards our cars, they'd be better, I'm sure. The point is, you guys, you absolutely have to bend somewhere. To reduce oil costs you reduce oil demand. Which is kind of a red herring because we're not the only ones using oil, and China and India are just getting their shit online. But you can use less gas either by driving less or driving more efficently.

There's a large difference between fatty fish and white fish, of course. And then there's canned tuna, which is practically cat food, although I do eat it often. No I'm not Catholic, I just decided to do it on a whim. I've been fairly faithful to it except when I ordered the corn chowder and found bacon in it, and ordered the tuna salad sandwich and got chicken salad instead. Better to break it once in a while than waste food...

Obama gave another speech yesterday on the issue of Iraq, although I haven't seen it get the press (or YouTube) of the one from Tuesday. He is slated to speak on the economy and the war's effects on the economy today, IIRC... Anyways, here's the speech. (TLDR alerts!)

So, I haven't really eaten red meat, pork, or poultry throughout all of lent. Which will be up soon. I've lost some weight, but that might be because of other gym-related activities. It's a little harder to eat out, but it's not too bad.

I've played quite a few, Marvin, I dunno what to say. I think my roommate said he unlocked Toon Link playing the homerun game??? I got the Puff last night too, fairly easy. I got TO Wolf, but he kicked the shit out of me, because I was using the Ice Climbers. The characters you use to beat up floodes aren't necessarily the ones you'd use in a real fight. And I never found my man Ike's trophey, so he's not on my team...
