Oh I don't give a shit about the radio. I want to see some of the things he sees as he is leaving.

So stop banning Leena...

Congress is still afraid of being painted as "weak on security"

If Prime 1 and 2 came out on like a disc or two for $30 or $40 I'd get 'em in a heartbeat.

This is no surprise, of course. My friend...er...this guy I know and kind of don't like, but he's got roommates I'm friends with, he's got a PS3 and I'll try to convince him to get it online and download Tekken. Maybe I can occasionally get online...

This was one of my favorite short stories from Stephen King, and that's saying an awful lot. I really hope they keep the same ending, but I somehow doubt they will.

Just sayin', most pledges are like 17 or 18...

We are propping one sect against another. At one point we were arming Shiites and then we started arming the Sunnis when it turned out that the Shiite militia groups were getting out of hand...

Yes. They won't be the party of conservative values because it seems that they CANNOT. Except that isn't true. Even if every single person with an R next to their name is a closet pedo donkeyfucker whatever, they'll still vote for marriage between a man and a woman, and be anti-abortion. And that's what matters to the religious right. Not your morals, as much.

Jingus how can you take one look over there and not see a mistake? We are not safer. The Iraqis are not safer. As principled as this may have seemed at the onset, its fully expected eventualities have been shown to be as fithy as Saddam. In other words, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are STILL dying. But now they haven't got any power, and Al-Qaeda has a hiring tool of stellar proportions. We fucked up the Afghanistan war by moving all of our energies into this one. M-I-S-T-A-K-E.

WTF do you expect, Black?

Everyone should find out where The 11th Hour is playing near them, and go see it.

Jingus there is no way to "win" on certain terms. If we were so gung-ho about getting rid of Saddam, we should've gone in, kicked him out, and left. There was no way, there IS no way, seemingly, to avoid the bloodshed that is coming right now. That is ongoing right now. In retrospect, it was a mistake to get rid of Saddam. It hasn't helped the Iraqis realistically. It may have changed the source of their misery, but it hasn't eliminated it.

Religion is, I think, why I can't buy liquor on Sundays, or anything over 28 proof.
-
Back then it wasn't our problem and our people weren't dying. Despite claims to the contrary, he wasn't a threat, at least not as much as many other peoples.

My concern is also the SecuRom rootkit that is installed on your comp with either the demo or the app. That kind of shit should really at least give you notification when it is installed on your computer. More than the EULA...

I just got back into it, again. Just beat the two owls. Anyone actually beat this game yet?

So whats the point of staying there? If we're holding back the flood without any way to stop it, there's really no point.

The argument is that the amount of damage isn't worth it, that's what the argument is. And then your side goes "zomg Vietnam was worse" And then we go, "medical technology is obscuring the damage." Fatalities get headlines, not cripplings, not brain trauma.
-
Jingus, realize that something like 1 in 3 vietnam vets who were critically injured died, the number for the Iraq war is something like 1 in 26. So while that is happy for the people surviving, it kind of skews the numbers to make this seem to be a cleaner war than it actually is. Further more, shellshocked soldiers whos brains are been pressurized one too many times are never, ever going to be the same. This war has a lower number of fatalities than previous wars, but that doesn't mean the loss of life, or quality life isn't high.

In keeping in the vein of the thread, Bioshock's PC DRM.

Honestly I'll probably end up getting the game. First I WILL make sure to figure out what SecuRom does to you computer, which programs it considers "blacklisted" and so on. If this were almost any game, I simply wouldn't get it. So sad that this is an FPS, one of the only game types that I almost refuse to play on a traditional console. Wish it could work on the Wii.

Well the hardware crash issue is the only sticking point for me. I mean to be honest, I don't see this being an issue for me just because, to be frank, I just don't install stuff that often. But this is a really stupid step. If this doesn't change in a week or so, this is going to be the most cracked game in quite some time, if not ever.

Yes, but still, how many shoes can you own? Ten pair? Twenty? WHY!? Are you going to use all those?
-
Ok this doesn't anger me, per se, but its getting annoying: WTF is up with this: HOW MANY SHOES DO YOU NEED!? Can I get a testament by the guys here? How many guys give a SHIT about what kind of shoes a chick is wearing?
