Religious Tolerance & Religious Moderation Are a Joke
EricMM replied to Big Ol' Smitty's topic in Current Events
For the record, to the best of my knowledge, the two mentions of homosexuality in the bible are in Leviticus, which is history, and in letters written by St. John, who isn't, to my knowledge, Jesus. So. -
Sorely tempting, although I've never actually played these games before...

So wait if I were to pick up Legend and Anniversary, how much should that put me back?
-
Yeah well we'll get right on that. And when you get around to replacing that car of yours, whenever that should be, feel MORE than free to pick one up. But until then don't act like there isn't anything you can do...

Well, when figures in the Reagan administration were using those lines, Ripper, I don't really care how many people subscribe to it, obviously it was enough to affect the Republicans at the time. -

Soviet Union much? Ukraine says hello! Of course secular states can commit atrocities. But I don't think bos was speaking directly to that. I have to agree with his stance that waaay too many people let the bible dictate the way they vote, decide laws, etc. I mean, while things have improved recently, it was not too long ago (Reagans time) that pollution was just not seen as a problem to many christians because God would not allow it to happen, or even worse, that by polluting the world they were bringing us all closer to the Rapture. Of course that second bit still happens today. The wars in the middle east are seen by some preachers as precedents of the end times, so of course they're going to support them. And as said before, we really really should not be having an "Intelligent Design" debate in this country. Similarly a government sponsored marriage license should not be based upon religious norms. -
I want Running With The Devil...

Yeah, those are rules that could use better enforcing as well. Its ridiculous that SUV's and their ilk have LESS restrictions now than they did, as well as tax breaks based upon having LARGER SUV's. sigh.
-
Well, what, then? I mean, I suppose that there is always smaller, lighter, more aerodynamic cars. But those apparently run the gauntlet from ugly to dorky to weird.

Knocked Up shouldn't have cost THAT much money to make...

For those saying cars more efficently at 75 and 80 than at 55, take a few lessons in fluid dynamics, and wind resistance...
-
The sound is what got to me the most when they were over here, the persistant call of the wild. A little eery, or at least would be if they weren't complete bug R-tards.
-
Wrong. Cars are most efficent from 40-50. Above that the wind resistance dramatically lowers efficency.

Gamestop needs to stop with the false promises and maybes. No, we don't have any Wiis, no I don't know when we're getting them. Call back later. AND TAKE THOSE BOXES DOWN!!!

Holy crap! I recognize these from my childhood! Were they comics or toys? I cannot even recall the names...

I swear to god I kept the RAYCIST~! with tildebang thing going for a little while. I deserve some credit.

Yes I'm sure. For a while I was freaking out but I noticed a trend. Gatorade is fine. Vitamin water is fine. As long as you're drinking lemonade/limeade. Even the blue has red in it, for some reason. It's all the red 40, everything else seems fine.

I don't like the red dye they use. It tends to uh, stick around...

Saw it. Quite enjoyed it. Marked out for the ride's audio playing in the white-out scene, just as I did when in the second one they had the guys replicate the dunking animatronic from the ride.

It is stupid to have R1 be, what, items? Also? Or better yet, a custom button option.
-
That is silly, but on the other hand, I haven't mixed them up, yet......
-
I have not found it to be a problem.

actually, I like the fact that you get hit by your own spell. You conjure up a tornado and then charge directly into it? Yeah, that's smart. The game specifically tells you NOT to charge into things because the enemies will just beat you up...
