The fact that you had a number of other songs on this album as being a 10 but not this negates your taste altogether. Best Dylan song ever. Maybe. It's a great song and it contains what is probably the best hook Dylan ever wrote, but for some reason it never really 'clicked' for me. I can't really explain it. Also, Idiot Wind is the best Dylan Song ever. No question.

I think you're being a little harsh. If you ingore the ridiculous 10 minute long test pattern at the end it's a perfectly acceptable song. This is pretty much right. Though I prefer Sticky Fingers to Exile simply because it holds together better. Exile really falls apart at the end whereas Sticky Fingers is really consistent all the way through.
