    2006 NFL Off-Season

If Edge can pick up 4+ yards a carry, the Arizona offense is going to be fearsome. He won't average that if his offensive line doesn't block for him. Arizona's Line isn't bad but injurys hurt them last year, hopefully they'll draft Winston Justice.

The Shield, season 5, official thread

This is byfar the best season IMO. Because I haven't been this pumped for a TV show, since I can remember. And this has been the best written and acted Season. Anyone get bone chills when Vic and Antwon had that big confrontation, where Antwon said he's gonna get Lemensky killed? Anthony Anderson has suprised me as an actor in this show, I never thought I could actually take him serious, but he proved me wrong in Season 4. Forrest Whitaker has for sure given new legs to the show, I just hope he lives.

You guys are lucky, I have to go through a whole week avoiding spoilers. On Canada it use to be on Wednesdays, but now they switched it to Sundays for some odd reason.

Comments which don't warrant a thread

I know everyone's forgot that RAW still has no GM(Vince doesn't count). But when is the new GM going to be announced?

I agree, but at the same time I'm dieing to see a Miles Davis film(I also would love to see a Marvin Gaye film), and Don Cheadle in a lead role.

Was SNME a flop??? Ratings are in...

Batista. I bet an apperence by Batista would spice up the ratings.

The Shield, season 5, official thread

I'm so tempted to read it, because it's killing me to know what happens, but I just can't. I watched the episode last night. Kavanaugh's rant was intense, "WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE? IT TASTES LIKE PISS TO ME!" he went crazy! No matter what happens, I want to see Kavanaugh still on the show. If Forrest doesn't get the emmy, it would be highway robbery.

He can get his 100 yards, aslong as he dont get the main thing that matters "Touchdowns".

    2006 NFL Off-Season

I saw the game but it is nothing like you're describing it. Hall made one or two good plays, while T.O. just totally abused him the rest of the time. And yes T.O. did drop that pass, but it had nothing to do with Hall. T.O. generally got whatever he wanted on Hall, there were just some poorly thrown balls that Hall was able to take advantage of. Considering I just watched the game last week on the NFL Networks "Game of the week", it's fresh in my head. Hall did dominate TO for most of the game, espically in the redzone where Terrell couldn't do a thing. Most of it did had to do with McNabb playing with bruised ribs, but TO was overall bad, despite what the stat sheet says. Considering you watched the game through the eyes of someone with a clear agenda against T.O., I don't care. There is no possible way you can go 7-112 and be "overall bad" or "completely shutdown". ESPECIALLY considering T.O. and Hall were one-on-one pretty much the entire game. The pot calling the kettle black. You seem to have Owens nutsack in your mouth, so in reality your opinion is biased as well. Go re-watch the game, espically in the redzone and tell me Hall didn't own TO. Hell even watching the game at the time, when I wanted TO to do good, I still thought Hall got to him. But whatever, debating this is useless. Have fun with TO in Dallas, just don't be complaining when he turns your team into a complete circus.

I'm not saying he's an all time great WR, I'm saying he's one of the best playing right now. No need for childish insults.

Did you guys watch the game? Yes he got his catches, but most of the time Hall had him smoothered, and knocked down balls. McNabb did throw some bad balls because he was playing with bruised ribs, but TO dropped a very catchable ball in the clutch time that they needed to win the game. And Hall just OWNED Owens in the Redzone. TO did not look like TO in that game.

I'm only giving the man credit where credit is due. He is an amazing WR, espically for his size(He's only 5'10 for fuck sakes). As an Eagles fan, I want nothing more than to see him and the Redskins fail, but I got to give my unbias opinion. He's very underrated.

Look at his 2 years with the Jets after Coles left, he was pretty much the only recieving talent for Pennington. Santana is for real. Ok sure I will. 2003: 16 Games/12 starts he had 74 catches for 1105 yards, 10 TDs 2004: 15 games/14 starts he had 45 catches for 838 yards, 5 TDs Doesn't sound like someone I'd buy just yet. He had a great 2003 season, 10 TD's and over 1105 yards is pretty damn good to me. In 2004, the Jets didn't rely on Moss as much and decided to use there rushing attack alot more, is his stats went down, but he averaged 18.6 per catch and thats a damn good stat. Just ask Jets fans and they will tell you how much they miss Moss.

    2006 NFL Off-Season

Don't group Moss in with Owens, Moss doesn't quit, whine, and bash his QB when times are rough. Moss didn't bash Kerry Collins of all QB's, even though he was a main reason why the Raiders were losing. Moss would problay give his left nut to play with the quality of QB like McNabb and wouldn't complain if they lost a game. The whole TO/McNabb drama really started in Week 7 of 2004 againest the Steelers when we got destroyed, Owens blamed everything on McNabb, and McNabb just ignored it and carried on winning while TO got injured.

What was the biggest crowd pop EVER?

I was at both Canadian Stampede and Wrestlemania 18, Hogan's pop was way bigger then the Hart Foundation, mostly because their was way more people in the skydome then there was in the saddledome. And the Hogan Vs. Rock match meant more.

Moss is faster, but T.O. has better hands. My top 5 is: 1. T.O. (when he plays) 2. Chad Johnson 3. Torry Holt 4. Steve Smith 5. Santana Moss I realize I left Randy Moss off this list, and I do not care. Hines Ward is probably 6th. Owens use to have better hands, but now he's just settling on his brute strength instead of his actual skill. Which problay has to be because of his age. You also left off Marvin Harrison. My Top 5 coming into this season would be... 1. Steve Smith 2. Marvin Harrison 3. Chad Johnson 4. Randy Moss 5. Santana Moss I feel bad putting Torry Holt(who I can could be the #1 WR, and still has his best years to come), and Hines Ward(The best overall WR), but what can you do.

LOL what do you except, I've never seen a football player(Owens) draw this much media and fan attention since Lawerence Taylor's crack days, and even then he didn't run his mouth as much as TO.
