IIRC, Carolina has made Ottawa their bitches this season. Now I don't want to get off as a Hurricanes fan(I'm a Flames fan), but I think this team is the team to beat in the NHL, atleast in the East. They just are not getting the respect they deverse. East IMO, is just weak as a whole, sure they got Ottawa, Philly, and Carolina. And couple of pretty good teams in Buffalo and NYR, but in total they fucking suck. In the West there is alot of good teams who are above .500 that don't even have a playoff spot(San Jose, Minnesota, Phoenix, Anaheim) that would make the playoffs no problem in the East.

I don't know about Carolina being a 1 year wonder, they got alot of young players and Eric Staal(got it right this time) is the truth. That kid is fucking tough and can down right score. Gerber is a pretty good goalie also.

Boston wants turn Wally into a poor mans Larry Bird. Chris Bosh has expressed alot of interest in staying in Toronto, judging from interviews he has a great relationship with Raptors coach Sam Mitchell, and loves the city Toronto. If the Raptors fire Sam Mitchell good chance Bosh will leave, if they keep him good chance Bosh will stay. Nets really need to make a trade to add another big body to the team, they are getting KILLED by PF's and C. They gotta make a trade for Stromile Swift, who would excel in the fast break offense of the Nets. Easy target for ally-ops passes from Jason Kidd. If they add Swift they could compete with Pacers and Miami in the East. And lastly, I'm willing to bet Pierce will be traded before the deadline, I'm hearing rumors of Pierce for Ben Gordan and 1st rounder. I'd think that would be a great trade for both teams.

Just to play devil's advocate here, if Kobe's a superior defender and an opposing player is ripping apart the defense, why isn't Kobe guarding him? Because Phil wants Kobe to use most of his energy on the offensive side, because quite frankly no one else on the Lakers is playing up to standards. And also isn't Bibby a point guard? Why would Kobe guard the point guard? That's Smush Parkers job. Because Bibby was anally raping Smush and Kevin Martin was just kinda standing there watching everything so Phil made Kobe stop wasting his time and sent him over to be anally raped by Bibby also. Fritzgerald and Boldin are not boring. Put a good runningback on that team, and a franchise qb like Culpepper and you got a high powered offense.
