    Hopkins/Jones Set For March 11th...

Actually it wasn't a superfight in 1998, in 2002 it was a superfight, espically after Hopkins beat Trinidad. But yeah this fight should of happen 3 years ago, now it's useless. And to the poster who said Hopkins cant win a big fight anymore, alot of people had Hopkins beating Jermain Taylor both times.

Do you guys think Duante Culpepper will be traded? If so, were to? I heard rumors of him getting shipped off to Miami to reunite with his former offensive coornator, or him to Arizona to reunite with Dennis Green. I think Culpepper could make both teams go in the playoffs, espically with the offensive talent for both teams. Also do you think Aaron Brooks will find a starting job anywhere, and if Farve doesn't retire and leaves Green Bay where will he go?

  4. Hey guys, I live in Canada, so I have yet to see Season 4 of the Shield. I tried downloading it on iMesh, which was unsuccesful. Does anyone know a website or possibly another transfering program where I can download it from? Thank you in advance.
  5. How so? Taker is easily as over as Batista, if not more. I say give the Taker his last run as champion before he retires, and let someone next year like Lashley or Ken Kennedy, or any up and comer end his streak.

    Shelton Benjamin

Depends how the WWE used him, most likely they would give him some offensive gimmick and make him a mid-carder.

WrestleMania 22 Matches You'd Like To See

That list is a joke? The only wrestler on that list I can see possibly being better is Chavo Guerrero, and even he hasen't had better matches as a single wrestler in his career then Shelton Benjamin.

    Shelton Benjamin

Yeah, that Booker T guy wasn't over. Despite being popular enough to co-main event Wrestlemania, and being one of the most over wrestlers in the WWE during 2002-2003. Booker T should have won the World Title at Wrestlemania 19, I don't care what anyone says. Espically after that borderline racist fued. As for Shelton Benjamin, the guy is an exciting worker, and has great skills. It has been proven he has mic skills, but the WWE wont let him use it, instead they gave him these cheesy lines to say. I thought his promos with HBK in the past week were decent. He can get over by just wrestling, like a RVD, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, etc. I wouldn't say Shelton has been the most mis-used of the past decade, because he did have a mini push, and pinned HHH cleanly. Chris Jericho, I think was the most mis used wrestler of the past decade, even when they gave him a chance to shine with being the undisputed world champion, they made him be Stephanie McMahon's severent and a cowardly heel. I don't even remember him getting a clean victory during his title reign.

    Vince saying "Nigga"

For those who watched Survivor Series remember the skit with Cena/Vince/Booker T, where Vince says "Keep it up my nigga" to Cena, and walks by Booker T, and Booker said "Tell me he didn't just say that". Now, I am half black myself, and found the skit VERY offensive. Shame on Cena and Booker for particapting in somthing not only unfunny, but very racist. Booker should of not allowed it, by not particapting, no matter how bad he will de-push you. I'd rather be de-push then some rich white guy's jigga boo. It's going to be very hard for me to watch another wrestling program, espically the way WWE is treating the African-American stars(Shelton Benjamin consently being jobbed out despite being one of the best pure workers in North America, and Bobby Lashley being the 1st person elimnated in the SD!/RAW match), it's seems you have to be Vince's jigga boo like Booker has for the last few years(HHH fued and the skit at Survivor Series).

    Vince saying "Nigga"

It's not entertainment, it's art and leads to somthing. Quentien played a character, Vince McMahon played WWE Owner, Vince McMahon. When black people call other black people nigga, I find it offensive also. The only way, I approve of it is in a Rap song, because it is an artform, which is explaining the mentality of living in the ghetto.
  17. Lt. Al Giardello

    Vince saying "Nigga"

At no point did you explain why its offensive. I mean, you do realize Cena is white, don't you? I just don't see how one white guy calling another white guy a "nigga" as a compliment is offensive. Were you offended because you thought someone might think Vince was telling us Cena is really black? Or, as a black person, you don't want to be associated with John Cena? I really need an explanation other than "it was offensive because I say so". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm offened that the word is being used at all no matter if Vince was saying it to a Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Arab person no matter who it is, the term was unfunny. And as for Chaosrage, your still not getting the point so arguing with you is quite useless.
  18. Lt. Al Giardello

    Shelton Benjamin v. Trevor Murdoch

What about his awful matches with Carlito, Flair, Conway, and pretty much everyone else on the RAW roster? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Name one person who had a good match with Carlito? His match with Flair at Backlash 04, was decent in my opinion, and they never gave Him and Conway enough time to produce a good match. Shelton also had very good singles matches with Angle, Randy Orton(Where he carried Randy), and Rey Mysterio.
  19. Lt. Al Giardello

    Vince saying "Nigga"

Why? What's the difference? Except he didn't say nigga in Pulp Fiction, he said nigger. So other than that, what's the difference? Well did you make a thread the first time you heard him say it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Point A: The difference is it's a movie, he was playing a character. Most people who are like the character he played in real life situation like that would say somthing of that. Vince was saying it trying to be funny, in a completely useless skit that had nothing to do with the PPV. Point B: I didn't make a thread at the first time I heard it, because I don't even watch Smackdown, and didn't see it.
  20. Lt. Al Giardello

    Vince saying "Nigga"

No it's not, it's equally as bad.
  21. Lt. Al Giardello

    Vince saying "Nigga"

Not a rap fan I take it? White and black people say the word nigga a lot. It doesn't have anything to with racism. In ebonics, it's like calling someone buddy. Have you been living in a cave? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I problay listen to more Hip Hop then you, like it said Hip Hop is an art, it's much different. Not some rich white man's attempt to be funny. And name one White rapper who says nigger? Eminem has never released a song with him saying nigga or nigger(Despite those tapes from when he was a kid where he degrades Black woman, where he got torched by the media and the Hip Hop Community).
  22. Lt. Al Giardello

    Vince saying "Nigga"

Wrong, I normally don't bash Vince or the WWE as most of the time I think they are doing a good job. But lately this company has been going down the wrong direction. They seem hellbent this year on turning to get rid of their minorty fanbase(Mexicools, Muhammad Hassan, and this skit). This skit was not needed and was very pointless. I myself don't find it funny at all. I'm sure most of you thought it was funny as most of you are problay white. Nigga in a hip hop song is used as a artform not trying to degrade the race. When Quentin Tarantino got bad pressed for saying Nigga in Pulp Fiction, I stood up for him. This is just Vince's way of trying to be funny, it wasn't cool. I normally don't cry racism, I've dealt with it all my life. But I think this was just stupid and very unnessecary, espically when you have alot of African-American fans.
  23. Lt. Al Giardello

    Shelton Benjamin v. Trevor Murdoch

We all know how Vince feels about African-Americans in that skit in Survivor Series. Shelton doesn't need charisma to get over, all he needs is his wrestling as you saw in his matches with HBK, Wrestlemania 21(Where he arguably stole the show), Jericho, Christian, and HHH. Shelton is very good on the mic, if you heard him in his WGTT days, but hasen't really been given a chance.

The OAO RAW Thread - Nov/28th/05

Shelton needs to go to TNA, an African-American who gets over just simpley based on wrestling, is somthing Vince doesn't like. Atleast in TNA he would be easily a main eventer. Shelton Vs. AJ Styles would be crazy.

    Armageddon main event revealed!

Why are people talking bad of the Batista/HHH match? I thought it was a damn good match, both guys worked their asses off, and HHH finally put someone over. What more could you want? Orton/Taker could be a good match, everyone thought Lesnar/Taker was gonna suck but it ended up being a good entertaining bloodbath. Orton bumps way more then Lesnar did, so it could be better.
