WCW World War 3 (the first one)- Few observations
Lt. Al Giardello replied to DMann2003's topic in General Wrestling
Ahhhh I apologize then. I honestly really didn't watch WCW when Hogan came in and started squashing every single main event heel there was. Even as a kid it didn't appeal to me. I was more into Heel Shawn Michaels at the time. -
I strongley dissagree. Randy Orton was as over as they were, but Austin and Rock just got more attention, because at the time more people were turning into wrestling.

You moron. The 1st World War 3, took place in 95. Way before Hogan even turned heel. -

Don't group Toronto with the rest of Canada, asshole. Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal both have great heat, and werent pricks like Toronto was last night. Toronto isn't that bad, but tonight it seemed fucked. When I went to WMX8, it was great.

Scott Steiner officially fired from WWE
Lt. Al Giardello replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
What's the point? He can't wrestle a lick anymore. Cena is even better then him. -
Remember the whole deal with Steph and Bisch switching wrestlers in the summer of 2002? I hope the same thing happens.

What the hell are you guys talking about? His program with Orton was very good, and would of continued had he not been injured. -

How did the WWE screw up on Benjamin? They were gonna give him the IC Belt, but he got injured by Garrison Cade. -

Waaaaa Waaaaaa Waaaa Well cry me a river... Jackass

Then you didn't watch the show. I attended live, and ask anyone else who attended live. They would tell you Undertaker got the biggest reaction of the night, aside from Hogan/Rock. He was even cheered over Ric Flair, who was the face.
-
What the fuck are you talking about? When I went to Wrestlemania X8, Undertaker had the biggest pop of the night besides the Hogan/Rock match.
-
I give Orton/Benoit, ****1/4

I AM STILL MARKING OUT FOR RANDY ORTON! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! THE ORTON ERA HAS BEGAN!
-
What a match! I marked big time when Orton won the belt!

I love heel Coach. Paul Heyman was GREAT, alot better then Jerry Lawler ever was IMO. Even when Lawler was in his prime at the booth. Heyman did alot better job pissing of JR then Lawler ever did. It was hilarous. Survivor Series 2001 was a classic.

Question about a Chris Jericho quote...
Lt. Al Giardello replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
Jericho's best promo since the Malenko fued and his debut to the WWF. Jericho and Rock have great chemistry. Does anyone have the clip, so I can download it? -
That's a classic. Anyway, I'll be cheering Randy Orton on, because I'm a huge fan of his. More then Benoit. But it's gonna be an epic match. I'm taping this even for sure.

* We have heard that Shawn Michaels’ wife gave birth late Thursday evening / early Friday morning. As stated previously, Michaels was planning on attending SummerSlam, but said he would miss the PPV if his wife hadn’t given birth by Sunday since he wanted to be there with her. It now looks like everything is good to go for his return and likely interference in the Kane vs Matt Hardy match which would then set up a Kane / HBK feud after the PPV. - Rajah.com

Which match are you looking forward to the most...
Lt. Al Giardello replied to JoeDirt's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm looking forward to Benoit/Orton and Angle/Guerrero. Both can make this PPV of the year. -
Why not have Kane beat Matt Hardy to a bloody pulp, and Kane wants to get married that same night. Then just as he's gonna do it, HBK makes the save? So it helps out Kane and ends the angle at the same time.
