BJ has stated in the past he barely trained for those fight, was eating very unhealthy, partying and getting drunk all the time. That's not what I call a motivated BJ Penn. He figured he would just get past GSP and Matt Hughes in the 2nd fight just based off his skills alone... And he was proven wrong. A motivated BJ Penn is the BJ off the last 3 fights... I believe his trainers said it best in that the Jens Pulver fight woke up a sleeping beast in BJ. I take nothing away from GSP's win over BJ, he beat BJ fair and square... He came hungry and wanted the title shot more then BJ did. But that is not the best BJ Penn we've seen... Infact it was the worst BJ Penn I've seen. BJ Penn wants the GSP rematch more then any fight, he is problay more motivated for this fight more so then the Jens Pulver fight... Because GSP is one of the top 3 pound for pound fighters in the world, where as Jens wasn't. But of course this is all just talk, because we have to see GSP get past Jon Fitch 1st, and that is not going to be an easy task IMO. BTW, Happy Birthday LOTC...

When was the last time BJ actually had to use his guard? It's so difficult to actually takedown BJ, especially a motivated BJ that actually is training. You could honestly tell me with a straight face that the BJ who GSP was able to takedown, is the BJ of now? GSP might be able to takedown BJ, but it's going to be a lot more harder now that BJ is actually hungry and motivated to be the best in the world.

Werdum was in a dominating position, but none of his strikes were doing too much damage... Considering the same referee let James Thompson blast Kimbo with elbows in a dominating position for a good 2 miniutes, it find it fishy. Plus there was only like 10 seconds left in the round.
