Hassan's response is now posted in video form at WWE.com, presumably taped at last night's show.

Because WWE doesn't know how to tell stories intelligently or portray characters in more than one dimension.
-
I'm not so sure the movie is the problem so much as the ancillary merchandise. Having both "Shark Boy" and "Sharkboy" product out could cause marketplace confusion.

SmackDown's 1st Draft Lottery Pick is...
Celtic Guardian replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
If both picks stand as listed... ...for the IWC, plus for Smackdown, minus for Raw. ...for casual fans, plus for Raw, minus for Smackdown. Of course, there may not be many casual fans left for Smackdown after it moves to Fridays anyway. -
It really shows how politicized the Supreme Court has become. It seems that the current court only uses "states' rights" to overturn left-leaning federal laws, not the federal laws backed primarily by conservative politicians.

Well then you know he's lying. I live here and everyone around is stupid or demanding attention. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or not... The Washington Post has confirmed from Woodward and Bernstein that Felt is indeed Deep Throat.

Yeah, that's how I always honor the soldiers who gave up their lives to protect America, with a swimsuit competition.

Last episode of Impact! to air this Friday
Celtic Guardian replied to Nightfall's topic in TNA Wrestling
PWInsider carried something on one of there audio updates saying that there would be an official announcement Monday or Tuesday. I guess (purely my speculation on this part) that there won't be an announcement until enough media industry reporters are back from the long weekend to cover it. -
No doubt but he might sign one or more of them just to keep them out of a competing TNA group. I could see that.

Last episode of Impact! to air this Friday
Celtic Guardian replied to Nightfall's topic in TNA Wrestling
Thoughts? Between the Ropes has had a number of TNA people on its program over the weeks. It may well be a position to actually know this so it could be legit. We'll see for sure very soon one way or the other, of course. -
The Fox Reality Channel in 2005 ?
Celtic Guardian replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
That Reality Central entry (renamed Reality 24-7) seems to have fallen apart over the past year, largely due to Fox using its leverage to take most of the available cable/satellite clearances for its own reality channel. -
Last episode of Impact! to air this Friday
Celtic Guardian replied to Nightfall's topic in TNA Wrestling
It's very doubtful that Fox Sports Net would allow an announcement about TNA Wrestling moving to an opposition station to run on the final FSN version of Impact. TNA and WGN (should it be WGN) will probably have to get any such word out themselves elsewhere. -
New Fall Network Shows/Lineups thread
Celtic Guardian replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
"I think talking to ghosts may skew younger than talking to God." - CBS chairman Leslie Moonves Whether of not "Joan of Arcadia" deserved to be renewed, the quote above illustrates a complete disconnect between the entertainment industry and mainstream America on matters of faith and spirtuality. It's appalling. -
New Fall Network Shows/Lineups thread
Celtic Guardian replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
All of the CBS returning dramas (including NCIS and Numb3rs) seem to be crime procedurals and now we'll get even more of them. The network really risks tiring out that particular subgenre if its not careful. -
New Fall Network Shows/Lineups thread
Celtic Guardian replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
They are. Stewart will have her own daytime syndicated show (distributed under the NBC Universal umbrella) as well as her Apprentice spinoff on NBC network. -
Welcome to the inevitable contradiction in American foreign policy where the U.S. uses the war on terrorism to promote democracy while aligning with tinpot thugs to win that war. As per usual though, this won't be noticed much on American television where the news people don't know how to pronounce Uzbekistan, never mind report on it.
-
There's a bit of wisdom in the cable television business that states that most viewers can only keep in mind about ten or so channels at most (including broadcast channels) when deciding what to watch on television. It seems very doubtful that the young adult male viewers needed by TNA would have WGN in mind.

Matt should "moan and bitch" to his friends, not to fans and satellite radio listeners. He's way overplaying his hand on this one.
-
TNA says it's Sonjay.
-
It's more than a penetration issue, it's a question of whether the target audience is ever inclined to flip to that station in the first place.
-
Unless they just did that segment for the arena audience, it makes no sense. How would this make Heidenreich more popular anywhere other than greater New York?
-
That's pretty much the right idea. If the folders must be merged, then they must be merged but TNA and Puro should be specifically named as part of the merged folder title and not just lumped in as Misc.
-
But there isn't any sanity so Jillian and Alexis may get pink slips instead.... at least if WWE remembers that those two women still exist.
-
Fair enough, he could have done any of those things to anyone lower in the WWE food chain than himself. So Matt could have defecated in Molly Holly's or Victoria's baggage but not Lita's.
