The pendulum may be swinging back to this being WWE Ashley after all. Meltzer rewrote his Sunday update from saying the escort woman was "likely" the other Ashley to saying it "seems possible." No Monday update yet.

Aside from perhaps Kimmel, none of those shows would have on Samoa Joe no matter what marketing firm TNA hired. The other named programs draw from a higher level of celebrity that only a select few WWE wrestlers, never mind TNA ones, could hope to reach.

At that time, Steve Austin wasn't even named Steve Austin so I doubt it could have been a point of real life confusion.

So, she might actually be telling the truth on this one, and is innocent. Now wouldn't that be a kicker. If Ashley Massaro V1.0 is innocent, her lawyer could just line up the defendants for the lawsuits.

I don't think Candice ever did porn...I know she did some softcore stuff, but not actual porn. Mickie James did some stuff that was probably closer to porn (those photo shoots everyone has seen on the internet). Really wouldn't mind seeing Ashley fired. She sucks in the ring and looks completely awkward and weird, regardless. My suspicion is that WWE just doesn't want to be blindsided more than anything else. The fed likely knew about Mickie's off-color past and certainly knew about Candice's filmography before hiring the women. Ashley being associated with this "escort" business (if true) could be another matter entirely. We'll see.

Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08
Celtic Guardian replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in The WWE Folder
So was Balls Mahoney. We may need a new thread on this one. -
JBL and Cena are eliminated, HHH & Orton are left.

Wild rumor: NFL Network reports that the Ravens are trying to trade up to 2, an obvious attempt (if true) to get Ryan ahead of the Falcons.

The arrest account is likely not true. I checked several days ago on the RTE site, there was no such report of an arrest on there. The wrestling news sites that did post this report pulled it within hours.

King Finlay means Prince Hornswoggle... silliness ensues.

You realize that game (if there's no OT) will be over approximately 45 minutes into Raw beginning, right? For Canada, yes. Stateside, it should be a much longer conflict.

Shawn isn't in that line up, so he's probably in the KotR. Same with Batista. WWE placed the brand champions and their Backlash challengers in the main event. Michaels and Batista don't qualify in either category. Hopefully, they'll be kept out of the King of the Ring to let someone else shine.

The candidates (and/or their script writers) must think that wrestling fans walk on all fours.
-
I think WWE fully intended at the start of this plan to go with the poliparody. It still may be a poliparody. If the original inanity somehow has been transformed though into actual candidate pretapes, that would be a legitimate public relations coup. We'll see.

John McCain has been added. WWE also says that the candidates will address fans in taped messages. The theoretical possibility of this being real still remains alive. WWE press release via Yahoo Business Wire

Ravens qb Steve McNair to announce retirement today, hello Matt Ryan??
-
Adamle doesn't know the stories or the characters in the stories. Even under WWE's redefinition of the commentary position, he was still not acceptable.

Could, should, probably won't. The Brothers of Destruction generally don't job as a collective unit.

King of the Ring tournament to return

Ken Kennedy is not the only wrestler who could be affixed with that acronym. Kofi Kingston would also qualify. -
King of the Ring tournament to return
Celtic Guardian replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
Agreed, wrestlers who have all been multiple time top champions in WWE hardly need a King of the Ring title. The point of KOTR should be to jump start someone up a higher level. -
We're in a WWE Kids world now. The rest of us just have to suffer through it.

April 21: Greenville, South Carolina.

The wrtitten article was probably a throwaway considering that it's a TV station site.

- Kozlov's previous appearances weren't mentioned at all. The match was squash city, Bentley got nothing.
