I'm guessing that TNAB meant something else entirely.

Racist. Only reason I can imagine Chavo Guerrero being fired is if WWE is ticked off over him even going backstage to the live TNA show.
-
The opposite scenario seems more likely. Cherry was already turned face in the Smackdown diva contest. Deuce and Domino seem the ones played out.

More possibilities to ponder Victoria: best female performer on Smackdown but an older woman in a company that hates older women Torrie Wilson: injured, already did the Playboy cover, past Diva-peak age herself Paul London: recurring injury issues, constantly in political trouble Kevin Thorn: post vampire refit renders him meaningless Val Venis: Why is he still there, again?

What about live event/house show reports from TSM posters? Where would they go in the new setup if anywhere?

OAO WWE is ECW Thread - 3/25/08
Celtic Guardian replied to David Blazenwing's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, I just noticed that on WWE.com. What the fuck is with that? Can't show the paying crowd a fun little battle royal? Makes me think that Kane wins the royal now. I can't imagine that Kane would be deliberately left off another WrestleMania pay-per-view. -
Probably not a good idea in this era to fly a renegade airship out over a major outdoor event.

Unavailable, the arena was already booked for a music concert tonight.

Poor Matt. His brother's a junkie. His ex girfriend is a junkie. His other girlfreind of six years left him for his close freind. All this, and he still can't get a main event push. I'm sorry, who is the junkie ex-girlfriend? Is she in the business?

With two strikes, WWE management can't reasonably trust Jeff Hardy to stay out of trouble. I doubt that he will be pushed back into the title hunt outside of the meaningless ECW anytime soon. FYI, the suspension story has been picked up on the AP wire.

Bingo. WWE could also add a provision where if wrestler A keeps clean for a certain number of years, he gets a partial amnesty and his wellness violation count resets down to one.
-
WWE may have to put an expiration date on the official count of wellness violations else the simple passage of time could trip up wrestlers. Elaborate on that point, please. It sounds like you are saying that if it has been a long time, the wrestlers might forget that they had been busted before, and start doing drugs. Is that what you are saying? Barring a policy change, we'll eventually start to see wrestlers booted from WWE based in part on violations counted from many years in the past. Would it really make sense for a WWE star in 2017 to be released on three strikes with a first strike dated back to 2007 and a second strike in 2008? WWE would lose a whole lot of veterans that way. At a certain point, common sense has to take over.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008
Celtic Guardian replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
This is one bloody whacked out day in the wrestling web world. -
It's not like UPN and The WB were available everywhere either. Keep in mind that some smaller areas don't have lots of local broadcast channels available, leaving no conventional room for minor network affiliations.
-
Most people who think they don't get MyNetworkTV probably do get it but just don't know it. Most major television markets have regular MyNetworkTV broadcast affiliates. Some of the mid-major television markets (example: Providence) have MyNet show airings during late night hours under secondary affiliations. Some other mid-major markets as mentioned (example: Richmond) carry MyNet shows only over digital subchannels. It's generally the most minor TV markets that don't get MyNet at all.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

Well if Eminem is on the show, that would explain that whole rumor. This is presumably going to be a TV show? I can't imagine any major network really being that interested in this idea. Major nets, no. If it goes anywhere, it would be on one of those cable channels that puts on such low-concept reality shows. Bischoff has the connections in that show genre to put together such a deal. -
How would YOU kill the ENTIRE WWE in 5-10 minutes?

Big Dick Johnson against Big Daddy V in a bra and panties match. -
Having seen the final pre-PPV Smackdown, I figure Mysterio could simply be given a storyline suspension for injuring the GM. The fact that it was inadvertent would be immaterial to a heel boss like McMahon. It would save the fuss of doing an injury angle.

Barry Bonds failed steroids test month after hitting 73
Celtic Guardian replied to Mik's topic in Sports
False alarm. The report was in error, based on a court typographic snafu. The referred test was in 2000, not 2001. AP -
Jim Zorn named Redskins head coach, the same Zorn who was named Redskins offensive coordinator just a few weeks ago. What a fittingly loopy ending to this loopy saga.
