FOX announcement (via Futon Critic) New midseason schedule, "24" is not on it.
-
We did do this months ago. The only new info was the debut date/time.

You're really not going to like this. Excerpted from TV Week:

Hold off on the history. No lead is secure when Navy is holding it.
-
Excerpted from the PAC 10 press release on the Arizona State/Oregon television situation. The situation has (surprisngly) resolved rather nicely.

Press release link now up in new thread.

Maybe they just like Punk and figured Miz as the least likely to get the belt over him. That's why I voted for Miz.

The two sides could have parted the right way. Instead, Yankees management decided to play a public relations game to spin Torre as the bad guy for turning down a lowball offer, complete with an unflattering picture of Torre on the team's web site. The charade is so transparent though that most fans should see right through it.

WWE General Discussion - October 2007

that could be good for the WWE overall, correct me if I am wrong but doesnt the ECW contract with Sci Fi end in December It does. Ratings have declined there too to the point that a new deal may not necessarily happen. -

I'm getting an old NWA/UWF vibe here. This news seems like either a last ditch attempt to save ECW on Sci Fi or the first step towards shutting it down. -

Or Morrison realizes that Batista is higher up in the WWE food chain so any complaining would only backfire. -
Hawaii now down 21-14 at San Jose State late in the third, not impressive at all. There seems little reason for poll voters to back Hawaii even if it comes back for the win.

So I guess when Christian returns to the WWE he'll be call "Tian" ???? Although I must add, have you heard the latest on this? To be called Jericho only, well, it's kinda boring. Chris Benoit................. er.................... Jericho lives forever! Could be a problem there too if it causes confusion with the television show. I'd think that WWE should be happy to have the Chris name associated with someone who isn't that other guy. -
CW already announced awhile back that its fall schedule (except Smackdown) would be HD with Smackdown going HD in January.
-
It may be more that a competition-oriented channel like Versus couldn't stomach the weird off-color mish-mash of Raw. I don't believe there is anything more risque on Versus than "Survivor" reruns.

Mickie James and Kenny Dykstra are too as far as I know. None of those couples are less valid because they didn't commit hara-kiri to their WWE careers. Wrestlers who want to maintain both their professional and personal lives do what it takes to balance things out. O'Reilly and Vaine aren't necessarily bad people, it just doesn't seem like wrestling is a high priority for them at the moment. It is what it is. -
Yes, the ratings were on a slide, now it's a plunge. Cena's absence didn't cause the slide but I'd bet it's a factor now in making that downturn a whole lot worse.

John Cena's not a big phenomena but he's a notable one. The man may not have had a majority of fans on his side but there was a significant minority (mostly women & kids) who likely tuned in only to see him. Without his services as an active performer, WWE has a major problem.

The Happy Ending doesn't even make sense for Gail Kim. Sounds like a fairy tale gimmick wrestler's finisher. The Happy Ending is actually a term used in those Asian massage places where they give you a happy ending (ie: jack you off). I though the name sound familiar. There was a short-lived ABC sitcom last season called "In Case of Emergency" in which Kelly Hu played a massage therapist who provided "happy endings." Ironically enough, the star of the show was David Arquette.

Sounds like a certain Kennel From Hell. Interesting: WWE.com says Khali has the advantage because this is his signature wwe match. I don't believe he's wrestled in one. In storyline, Khali wrestled such matches deep in the Punjab before coming to WWE.

More than you know. In Pennsylvania, refusal to take the blood test brings a one year drivers license suspension even without a criminal conviction.

Cena Injured Tonight (Out 6-12 Months)
Celtic Guardian replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
Kennedy's so called bad luck has been almost entirely Kennedy's own fault. I have no sympathy for a wrestler incompetent enough to get WWE's franchise star hurt. -

Assuming Orton is in the match, a face opponent would make more sense than Kennedy. Triple H, Undertaker or Jericho (reworked as a face) would all qualify. -

When it rains for WWE, it's a freakin' monsoon. When a company builds itself around one guy, it becomes vulnerable to this nightmare.
