Yankees/Orioles game approaching 3 hours and they're in the top of the 6th.

Nice feeling to have when your favorite team gets beat by a Darrin Erstad homerun in extra innings

Osi Umenyiora out for the season with a torn MCL Don't know how the Giants recover from that one. No pass rush=secondary exposed at least they won the championship last year

What happened to Vivica Fox's enormous fake tits she had in the late 90s/early 2000s? Just saw her on TV and she has deflated big time
-
wasn't it AndrewTS that was going crazy over her before her debut? I vaguely remember that

Hardy/Henry was a hell of a match. Henry can have good matches with the right people (Rey, Matt, Booker, etc.)
-
HHH v Kendrick v MVP v Shelton v Hardy is the most improbable Main Event in WWE PPV history. I'm not saying this as a bitter smark but there is no way Hunter is doing jobs for any of those guys. Six months ago I may have said Hardy but not now. There will be pinfalls in the match but Hunter won't be taking any of them. There is no way any of those other four guys are walking away with the title. If someone like Big Show is a replacement, maybe, but as currently configured? No way.

There's been talk of moving Maine into the closer role due to injuries and his inability to pitch deep into games. I don't like that move at all. He walks far too many hitters.

The Mets should be forbidden to play early Monday afternoon games against the Pirates. 2 excruciating losses a week apart

Norm has a polarizing style of comedy. You either get it or you don't. He's been one of my favorites since the late 80s/early 90s when I saw his HBO half hour special

Norm MacDonald. Bob Saget Roast. Watch the rerun. I haven't laughed that hard in years

Former Phillie reliever Darrin Winston has died at age 42 http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/8458186...s-from-leukemia RIP

So you approved of the Billy Taylor trade?

Great relief pitching is obviously important but the save stat in and of itself is meaningless. If a GM simply looks at saves and not peripheral stats (BB/9, K/9, WHIP) than he is an idiot. See Steve Phillips/Billy Taylor circa 1999. Like Al mentioned earlier, Joe Nathan has had a better season than Rodriguez but is getting no attention because he has far fewer saves. This is not to say that Rodriguez isn't great, he is, but not because he has so many saves. Edit: Ha! Bored beat be to the Steve Phillips/Billy Taylor reference!

Saves are like RBI, they're all about opportunity Danny Graves compiled several gaudy save total seasons in the early mid 2000's but was he really a great pitcher? It's like Joe Carter or Tony Batista putting up 100+ RBI seasons. They were in the right place.

Muffy appeared on one episode of Smackdown and one episode of Heat in April 2000. On SD, her and Stephanie berated the crowd for being fat and then did the Susan Powter workout routine. They also appeared in a throwaway backstage segment on Heat where they told each other they had great bodies and then made fun of an overweight WWE tech guy. and that was it. IIRC, Mower was a former stuntwoman so she was expected to have some sort of gimmick where she would take outrageous bumps (presumably being put through a table by the Dudleys)

I hate to say this but I really haven't enjoyed Conan since the strike ended. The shows just seem lifeless and I'm laughing less and less. The show has become incredibly stale and Conan seems like his mind is preoccupied with something else. It's probably has to to with the Tonight Show move next year and it's really affecting the show now. I hope he gets out of this rut

Never saw Titanic in the theater either. when I first saw it on HBO I was sitting there wondering what the buzz was all about I'll admit I had the same feeling about There's Something About Mary the following year (didn't see it in theater). I really think seeing it in a theater would have added a great deal to the experience. Don't get me wrong I love the movie but I was expecting to see the funniest movie ever (as I was told by everyone) and I was mildly disappointed

Walk off grand slam for Marlon Byrd Marte has been terrible for the Yankees so far
-
Well I'll be making my yearly trip down to Shea on Saturday to see the Marlins/Mets game. I was hoping to see Santana pitch but he will be going Thursday or Friday With Maine going on the DL today it looks as if the Mets will have to call someone up to make the start (unless they have Pelfrey go on 3 days rest)
-
Due to not having TBS until 1996 I never heard Caray in his prime He was a homer to the end but he was hilarious and he didn't take the game that seriously RIP
-
Yeah Phillies are starting to pull away. 2.5 over the Marlins and 3 on the Mets 8 days ago they were 2 games behind
-
Yes I was just going to post that. Died in his sleep. He was 68
