Anyone watching SNL notice Kristen Wiig doing a crotch chop during the "Rock of Love" Sketch?

Don't forget that Studd and Andre also had a feud in 83 as well as the famous one in 85. Plus, they were supposed to feud *again* in 87 if Studd had not left the company due to injury (With Andre as heel and Studd as face) Then of course you had the potential 89 feud. Vince really loved putting those two guys together.

Like many said last week about WM IV this Mania almost defines my childhood as a wrestling fan (along with WM III). I've probably seen this show more than any Mania and I can watch Hogan/Savage till the end of time. This show had more built up matches than IV. Hogan/Savage (obviously), Rude/Warrior, POP/Demolition, Heenan/Rooster, Jake/Andre all had solid build. There was even a token throw in build up with Hercules and Haku with the Heenan backstory And I've always loved the Busters/Strike Force match because of Tito's selling, Martel's over the top acting and because the company didn't really do break up angles like that at the time (ie with no obvious build) Yes there was filler but not as much as the previous year or the following year for that matter. Bruce Pritchard's Piper impression is spot on and doesn't get nearly enough credit simply because a lot of smart fans hated the Brother Love gimmick. The crowd was quiet but made more noise than at IV (maybe not that much more, but it was noticeable) Plus the shows up to this were so good with promotion and build I almost remember them as much as the actual event. That "Mega Powers Explode!" video package aired so many times it's ingrained in my memory

ek, they're going with the 3 way at Mania? Who does Batista work now? MITB?

2 matches featuring wrestlers in a PPV main event end with clean finishes?

Don't forget Rat Race and Freddy Got Fingered, also released in 2001. And I'm a Spade fan but Joe Dirt is nothing more than *decent* IIRC it was the first Happy Madison release not starring Sandler Edit: Deuce Bigelow was the first HM release without Sandler. Oh and add another one. The Animal was also released in '01.

These Hunter/Stephanie baby jokes are getting really, really old. All the same jokes were said 2 years ago when she was pregnant the first time. Please, please stop. Anyway, congratulations to them

Holy shit. I didn't think it was possible to like the guy any more than I already do, but wow. Ken Tremendous is married to JJ Philbin? HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK? I can't believe this shit. They must have met on SNL when they were both writers. With Ken being an exec producer on the Office and JJ an exec producer on Heroes they have to be bringing in some serious coin. And Ken being on SNL explains the Seth Myers cameo on the site a few years ago (both are Red Sox fans also) Who the fuck knew that when Ken was talking about his wedding on the site a few years and Regis was talking about his daughter getting married they were talking about the same thing. I really can't believe this shit.

Candice gets a video package teaser for her return!!

I agree that the NFC is underrated and is on the rise, but as I mentioned earlier the Giants are a young team and those players can only get better. Bradshaw, Jacobs, Smith, Tuck, Ross, Usi, even Manning etc. are all young and if the Giants are able to keep them they could be a force. They need to get younger in the secondary though (Sam Madison and McQuarters) I don't think they'll be a dynasty but that have a shot at hanging around the top of the conference the next few seasons
-
Great that a prick like Seau doesn't get a ring after 20 years in the league and being 1 game away. Just awesome
-
Fox post game was awful. Big suprise
-
The best thing about this is the Giants have some great young talent that can only get better. Bradshaw, Ross, Boss, Smith, Tuck, Usi, etc. Jerry Rees has to exec of the year. and Ernie Accorsi also deserves a lot of credit.

Can't wait for the Bellichick interview.

Same here. 18 years since a team of mine has won a championship. I don't know really what the fuck is going on now. This is unbelievable. Fuck Yes!!

I'm assuming the card is what we think WWE will book instead of what we want. So here is what I think will go down: John Cena v HHH Undertaker v Edge Randy Orton v Batista Shawn Michaels v Ric Flair Chris Jericho v JBL Money in the Bank: Jeff Hardy v Rey Mysterio v Kennedy v Kane v Big Show v Shelton Benjamin Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon v Finlay and Hornswoggle with Mick Foley as ref Chavo Guerrero v CM Punk Maria v Beth Phoenix Matt Hardy v MVP Miz and Morrison v Jesse and Festus

WWE General Discussion - January 2008
strummer replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't want to be around this place when Shawn ends Flair's career at Mania. I think we'll also get Finlay v Vince or Vince and Shane v Finlay and Hornswoggle at Mania.
