another musical number!!!
-
very predictable night so far. Slumdog is obviously winning Boyle is a lock for Director Winslet for actress. I just hope Penn doesn't win. I want to see Rourke's speech
-
just what the show needs...*another* musical number
-
and yes Bill Maher completely bombing put a smile on my face what a prick He hasn't been entertaining since Politically Incorrect left Comedy Central
-
show really starting to crawl Hopefully Rourke's speech makes the show memorable

Wasn't he GM when the Mets made the World Series, and drafted Kazmir, Wright and signed Reyes, along with trading for Piazza and Leiter? Piazza was traded only because of Nelson Doubleday. Fred Wilpon did not want to make the move. It was a pure salary dump by the Marlins. As was Leiter He also traded Jason Isringhausen for Billy Taylor He got Bobby Valetnine fired after the 02 season and brought in a puppet like Art Howe who just towed the line

Yeah I watched The Jerk on HBO a week or so ago and it's sad to see how awesome he was and what happened post 91 (like Bowfinger though)

Steve Phillips

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
strummer replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
Conan has been pretty bad (well boring) since the strike ended last year but this week's episodes have been tremendous. I really hope they do a tribute clip reel for Farley and Hartman tonight as both played key roles in the early days of the show -
they can't end the show with Chavo v Shelton. They must be filming something later, probably involving Hunter, to insert into the show
-
Rajah: with another taping coming tonight I wonder if they will spoil the result of Shawn/JBL by having the winner from RAW Monday work Koslov tonight Chavo face turn?
-
coincidentally it is basically 7 years to the day where they broke up on TV like the Cornette rule of wrestling says...
-
incredible promo from Piper tonight
-
Putting Steph and Hunter back together could really help bring back the female audience if only temporarily. for 7 years this has been their dream (going by a alot of stuff I see online and at the occasional show)
-
The crowd reacted well to the last segment and seemed to be be aware that Hunter and Steph are really married. I had doubt about the 2 mania title bouts but they seem to be adding new elements to both programs.
-
the booking for Mania should be interesting as the title has been changing hands so much. I can't see Hunter jobbing again at Mania (only if they do something like having Steph turn on him) Edge really should go over Cena
-
so much for No Way Out being a placeholder show where nothing happens
-
who pinned Cena?
-
She left with Shane, right? That's actually paying attention to detail very well
-
I guess this is what Meltzer was talking about last week with the whole "Plans are changing every day"
-
ha they really went through with the Edge angle?
-
Mania is starting to take shape now. Looks like HHH v Orton Shawn v Undertaker Matt v Jeff Christian v Swagger Jericho v Rourke/Flair/Piper dont' know who Cena is working Edge? Austin?
-
Ha Meltzer called Shane/Orton "real good"
