Vince promo is ending the show
-
Gene telling the real life story of Vince giving the TNT show to him because he (Vince) knew it was about to get cancelled and didn't want to be associated with it.
-
Cubs had the bases loaded an 0 outs in the top of the 8th and don't score and Ryan Dempster allows the Braves to tie it at 4 in the bottom half And the Braves take the lead on a wild pitch.

Anyone else think the supposed "killer" might have been going into the bathroom to get a gun to kill Tony? Right out of the Godfather
-
I think the ending was Chase saying "Tony is going to die, but you (the audience) really don't want to see it, so remember the family in good times for one last moment"
-
Tell me about it. Anyway the Mets scored more than 3 runs for the first time in a week today and still lost. They've now lost 7 out of 10. Shawn Green supposedly comes off the DL tomorrow which hopefully helps the offense a bit. Moises Alou is going to be re evaluated in Florida and may not play until July now. Ricky Ledee and Damion Easly will now platoon in left (UGH) It wouldn't be that big of a problem if Milledge was healthy, which is just killing the club right now.

Steve O and Pontius are locks to be in the matches. I really don't know who will fill the last spot. Knoxville and Bam clearly have the most star power (by far) but I can't seeing them doing it. Dave, Erin, Preston, Ryan Dunn, Brandon Dico, etc. really have no connection to the casual viewer. They might just bite and do Wee Man vs Little Boogey or something like that. -
Ozzie Guillen, Kenny Williams and Joey Cora sure are offensive geniuses! SMARTBALL~!!
-
Umage v Khali? I really hope Herb Kunze stopped watching wrestling
-
IIRC there was also a RVD/Spike Dudley match that went nearly 25 minutes on an episode of TNN. There is a fine line between allowing wrestlers to "do their thing" and running out of ideas, having your roster raided, guys in rehab, and injuries. I have to question if Paul was giving out all these long, drawn out matches during this timeframe for aesthetic reasons or because he was drained creatively

well, Okajima is human Another "season saving" win for the Yankees tonight? I think that makes 3 or 4 in the past week
-
Any ideas on what the plan was for the Briscoes in the WWF in 1984 if Jack hadn't flipped out on the road due to the insane travel schedule? There were rumors they were supposed to get the belts before Jack went home for good. They would have looked so out of place when the Rock N' Wrestling connection started
-
And now David Wright has back spasms and will not play tonight. I guess that means Julio Franco at third or God forbid "Super" Dave Mc Newhan

Giants trade Armando Benitez to the Marlins
-
And then Carlos Delgado ends it with a walk off. Unbelievable
-
Wild game at Shea as the Mets tie the game in the bottom of the 11th on 2 balks by Armando Benitez. I've never seen that before
-
Melina v Candice in a pudding match at ONS per wwe.com
-
That has to be a nod to the original SNME with ending the show with midcard filler. Basically like kamala v Lanny Poffo, Big Bossman v Jim Powers, Santana v Martel, etc.
-
Hey ESPN, what do those "season saving" wins vs the Mets and Red Sox mean right now for the Yankees? And I think the Bobby Abreu backlash is in full effect
-
Tough blow for the Braves as Mike Gonzalez needs Tommy John surgery and will miss the rest of this season and all of next season. In retrospect where would the Braves be if Bill Bavasi wasn't a complete moron
-
I think John Smoltz puts all those men on base when he pitches against the mets just for shits and giggles. Mets getting tons of runners against Smoltz and then can't get a big hit? You really do see something different every game in baseball.
