Aaron Heilman gets lit up again. Seriously he really sucks. What the hell happened?
-
Why would Sabu want to leave when he was getting a pretty decent push and Vince was a fan of his? Not to mention he was making good money for basically the first time in his career

Shouldn't have got caught RVD Bye Bye
-
I have a feeling A-Rod might get drilled his next time up. Will be interesting

well with the way the Yankees have been hitting lately they were bound to explode and they just did
-
This should hopefully end the Soler experiment

There was just a stat on BBTN that the Cubs are 19-20 against the NL Central and 10-31 against everybody else.

The Mets look like their playing in slow motion
-
It was the whole "team leader"/"intangible" bullshit he was upset about

I'm trying to not get discouraged about the Mets game tonight as they hit in incredibly bad luck. They hit at least 5-7 balls right on the nose that were either right at someone or a great play was made. You have to credit the Sox great defense but it was still bad luck Heilman once again continues to struggle and you have to wonder if this is a slump or is this the best he is? I really don't see the Subway Series going well this weekend. This is probably the first legitimate skid the club has gone into all season. And considering it's almost July that's not bad.

Carlos Delgado has a strained rib cage and will not playing tonight vs the Sox

These last 2 Yankee/Braves games have been just like a ton of Braves game the past decade and a half. Low scoring,The opposition leaving a ton of men on base, line drives hit right at Braves fielders, homeruns missing foul by inches. Edit: Just as I type this Jim Kaat mentions the same thing

and here's Edge
-
I'm pretty sure Alex Gonzalez has like 75% of his career hits against the Mets. Red Sox fans, you know why Gonazlalez isn't hitting?, he's not playing 19 games against the mets every year

Dodgers trade Jae Seo and Dioner Navarro to the Devil Rays for Mark Hendrickson and Toby Hall

well the angle looks to be over and the the real Kane will go back to wearing the mask
-
The Red Sox will honor their 1986 AL Championship team before the Mets game on Tuesday. One player didn't get an invite. And BTW it wasn't Spike Owen
-
Apparently the Yankees/Marlins second game will be televised on ESPN in the NY and Florida markets. I thought that was against the rules but whatever.
-
Just a note, the second game of the Yankees/Marlins DH will not be televised because of ESPN's exclusivity rights at the 8 PM time block. So John Sterling has the entire Yankee audience to himself!!!

Thanks Bored.

it's pretty surreal to hear the Braves announcers practically begging the team to get a win. Chip Carey practically had an orgasm when Todd Pratt's RBI groundout put the Braves ahead in the 11th. It's like they're embarrassed or something to be broadcasting the games

I know blown saves is a pretty worthless stat, but Wagner has already more than he did all of last season. Edit: Word is Wagner's finger is still bothering him which makes it hard for him to throw a slider. If that's true he should be DL'ed immediately because all he threw tonight was fastballs.
