I watched Run, Ronnie, Run on my local Fox affiliate and I can see why Bob and David dislike the movie. It is very sappy (complete with corny music playing over the sappy parts) and formulaic. It will no doubt me a big disappointment to hardcore Mr. Show fans. Bob and David claim the director double crossed them and totally changed the movie in post production. There are some very funny parts and some great cameos but the movie overall falls short. I also have to say that it became clear that Bob Odenkirk was the real star of Mr. Show. He is down right more naturally funny than David and a far better actor. 6/10

Thank God someone else thinks this. I can't believe Hollywood is trying to make her into a star. She is one of the most unlikeable actors in the business. She is terrible in everything. Spanglish would have been so much better if Tea wasn't in it. Her character was so annoying that it killed the good performances by Sandler, Paz Vega, Chloris Leachman, etc. I had planned not see this movie because she's in it. I'm going to stick to that.

Mets sign Chad Bradford to a 1 year deal. Hopefully he can remain healthy and regain the dominance he had against righties a few years ago.

Okay, the Seahawks,Bears, and Giants all have clinched playoff spots. If Tampa wins, they win the NFC South If Carolina wins, they're in the playoffs So it comes down to the Redskins and Cowboys. If the Redskins win and Giants lose, the Redskins win the NFC East. The Redskins make the playoffs if they win. The Cowboys make the playoffs if they win and the Panthers and Redskins lose I think I got it but I could be wrong on a few points

Basically what I ascertained yesterday through the net and word off mouth is that if the Vikings lose, the NFC playoff picture is pretty clear and straight forward If the Vikings WIN, then it is going to be a real FUCKED UP Week 17

odd as both teams that made the NFC championship game don't even make the playoffs the next season

The Red Sox scored tons of runs in the mid 80s with absolutely no speed on the team whatsover. Wade Boggs hit leadoff when OBP wasn't highly thought off. Boggs, Buckner, Jim Rice, Don Baylor, Dwight Evans, Rich Gedman etc, some of the slowest players of all time and they still scored runs. I would rather have smart baserunners rather than just fast base runners, especially in Fenway Park.

Buster Olney still doesn't get it. In his most recent column on espn.com he says one of the big fall outs of Damon signing with the Yankees is that it leaves the Red Sox void of team speed. How could he not know that the Red Sox could give a god damn about stolen bases? I'm sure the reason why the Red Sox scored all those runs the last 3 seasons was because Johnny Damon was really really fast. He also doesn't realize the Yankees are in the same mold as the Red Sox as a pseudo Moneyball team with no emphasis on stolen bases and speed. I guess he thinks what the Yankees need to win a World Series again is to steal more bases, because that's why they won from 96-01.

Russo is on all over the country on the YES Network. He kills Manning every week. The guys on ESPN, FOX, CBS really don't kill anybody These are the "analysts" that say Kyle Boller still has "potential" I really don't see all the Eli love.
