Randy Johnson struggling in the Bronz, 5-1 O's in the 4th. Guess the O's still own him.
  2. that's always been my take on Steph, she doesn't look bad to me, it's just that she looks SO MUCH older. She's still only 28, but looks older than that now

Well, you didn't really think one starter and a centerfielder was going to make things all better, did you? no, but I never imagined they would be this bad. They have a healthy Reyes, promising young players in Wright and Beltran. Pedro is still an upper tier pitcher They should be better than this. Like I said at the NMB board last night, the plate discipline on this team is so so poor, and they dont have enough power to compensate. When a pitcher gets hot against the Mets, he STAYS hot, the Mets NEVER make the pitcher work and try to tire him

    Major Heat on Rhyno

PWI: According to several sources, World Wrestling Entertainment informed Rhyno this afternoon that he was being released, stemming from the post-Wrestlemania 21 incident at the Universal Sheraton in California. As noted earlier this week on PWInsider.com, Rhyno shattered a large flowerpot vase in the foyer of the hotel during an argument. WWE management brought Rhyno back to his hotel room and he flew home from Los Angeles the following day, as opposed to staying for the Raw taping. The former ECW World and World Television champion was signed by the then-WWF shortly after Extreme Championship Wrestling shut down operations in 2001. He debuted with the company on 3/19/01, aligned with Edge and Christian (who he broke into the business with). When ECW was revived as part of the Invasion storyline, Rhyno was moved to that faction but was quickly gone from storylines, undergoing surgery in November 2001 to fuse a herniated disc under Dr. Lloyd Youngblood. Returning a year later, Rhyno made his Wrestlemania in-ring debut at Wrestlemania XIX, teaming with Chris Benoit in a Three-Way with Team Angle and Los Guerreros. He was never utilized in a major pushed singles role, but did hold the WWE Hardcore championship on three occasions. His most recent run was as part of a tag team with another former ECW star Tajiri, challenging and losing to then-WWE World Tag Team champions La Resistance. The timing of Rhyno's release was especially bad timing with the ECW One Night Stand PPV scheduled for 6/12 in New York City, although he could always be brought back for that event.

Top Creative Team Member Leaves WWE

IIRC, Kreski left because he was starting a family and couldn't handle the work load Vince put on him. I don't even think he was a wrestling fan either, showing that storyboarding everything and following logic is probably more important than liking wrestling

as for example of starters that only had 2 real pitches, Hideo Nomo was almost always fastball, splitter. I think he threw a few curves once and a while, but he was primarily a 2 pitch pitcher. Jae Seo of the Mets is fastball, change, and that's it.

Glavine throws a fastball, circle change, curveball, slider, and added a cut fastball in 2000. And Rivera has always thrown two pitches. A regular fastball, and a cut fastball. Many, many relievers throw mainly two pitches. Billy Wagner does, as does Francisco Rodriguez. I should have said he relies primarily on 2 pitches, he very rarely throws a curve ball or slider, he's almost always fastball, change. I've seen him throw a few curves, but honestly I've never seen Tom Glavine throw a slider. Maybe I'm not picking it up as lefties throw sliders that go down and in on right handed hitters and Glavine works away, away

Tom Glavine has won over 260 games and has only used 2 pitches his entire career, fastball and change up. I don't think Rivera is going to start using new pitches after he has had a dominating career using the cutter.

    WWE Signs Super Crazy

from Keller: -WWE is in the midst of signing a number of Mexican wrestlers, and while at first it was believed to be due to a desire to add depth to the Cruiserweight Division, it's clear now that it was to build roster depth for a WWE show produced especially for Telemundo, the Spanish-language cable station owned by NBC Universal. WWE, as part of the TV deal announced this week, will have an hour weekly show on Telemundo. Super Crazy is the latest luchador to ink a deal with WWE. Psicosis is also expected to be part of the initial Telemundo show, which presumably will be taped before Smackdown each Tuesday since Velocity is being cancelled this fall.

Reds have 5 runs on 2 hits! I think it's too early to say the Mets signings were a bust Salacious Crumb, were only 3 games into the season

    MLB Opening Day Thread

After watching the MLB extra innings package this week, I'm now convinced that the Mets have the only announcers in baseball that aren't homers, watching other team's announcers outright cheer their home team is so surreal to me because I've never seen it before. The Braves announcers don't cheer much either, but that's about it.

    WWE Divas SHOCKING SEXUAL SECRETS

Yes I remember that, Torrie seemed more wild back then, talking about getting a lap dance and how the stripper but her huge tits in her (Torrie's) face and getting make up all over over them. Stacy has definitely changed since then and Torrie now seems like the down to earth married woman Oh, and the company has no right to criticize any media outlet for asking personal questions when they send 4 women to talk about fucking to get some pub for Wrestlemania

    WWE Divas SHOCKING SEXUAL SECRETS

oh, and for supposedly being someone who has only been with like 4 or 5 guys, Stacy sure does seem to know an awful lot about men's sexual behavior

    WWE Divas SHOCKING SEXUAL SECRETS

yes, I read this interview a few weeks back, Torrie comes off the best actually, Trish, Amy and Stacy come off as total sex pots, not that there is anything wrong with that

different team, same story for Eric Milton. The guy is the luckiest pitcher in baseball in terms of getting run support. Tom Glavine looks like he's on his last legs, he's not getting the outside corner calls anymore and has to throw it over the plate and gets murdered

    Draft

Cena desperatley needs new guys to work with on SD, so i would imagine a big name from Raw is going to switch. It also wouldn't suprise me if they moved some of the women to Raw like Torrie or one of the nameless women

    Adrian Adonis question

I don't think Vince ever thought Adonis would get as over as he did, as a gimmick that was supposed to be punishment ended up in a high midcard feud with the 2nd/3rd most hype at WM 3. After the money match with Piper, Adonis was let go, and briefly went to the AWA before passing away in a car accident.
