Savage v Warrior at WM 7, Savage was probably the most over face in the company after the match (Hogan maybe being the exception)
-
Yeah they just showed a graphic, Bradshaw, Peyton Manning and Aikman were as bad as Eli in their first 3 starts
-
He has problems with selling, resurrection and all

LOL the Giants fumble the opening kick off, 7-0 Ravens, this is getting pathetic for the Giants UGH

I was pondering starting a separate thread for this as Tim Hudson has been traded to the Dodgers. http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews...10398742.htm?1c

Something tells me Bob is going to finally like Update tonight It was a pretty good update, but the Lohan bit just didn't do it for me and neither did the Colin gay sex innuendos. I marked for Bret Hull though. And Tina was really cute after the Giambi steroid joke "But I don't watch baseball" Explaining to the audience after the joke got almost no reaction The key/swingers sketch was definitely the highlight of the show I liked the roach bit Merv the Perv was funny as usual Hated the window sketch, that's something that should NEVER be on SNL, it came off like amateur hour. The airport sketch was a ripoff of the sketch from the Sharon Stone episode in 92, but with the male/female roles reversed. Ron saved it a little with the line at the end. Pretty good show I'm suprised Deniro is hosting again next week, I heard they hated him the last time he hosted in 02

Jason Stark just reported on ESPN radio that Jaret Wright passed a second physical (or general medical review), and he's now signed, still 3 yrs, 7 mil per.

Bryan Hoch of Mets Inside Pitch has stated that the Mets will not make any moves this weekend at the meetings. Minaya told him that none of his deals are even close to being done. Typical Omar, all talk, no results.
-
actually Looper had a very good season for the Mets last year, it just got shadowed because the Mets were so bad. I'm hoping it wasn't a career year, but looking at his overall numbers, one could make the case it was.
-
All I saw of Capellan last season is he gave up 7 runs to the METS!? in the first inning, that can't be a good sign. Braves will probably get the better end of the deal in the end. Watch Kolb have 50 saves and a 2.00 ERA and Smoltz have a great year in the rotation

I always get the impression Meltzer really wants to like TNA because it is the type of wrestling he likes, but he never just comes out and says it. It's like he's afraid to say he likes the product too much. I think if they cut the skits and Dave's arch enemy Dusty Rhodes was fired, he would give them oral every week in the Observer. And it's nice to say Meltz start with the Dusty bashing in full throttle, what's it been 3 weeks of him as booker, I'm suprised it took this long

WWE News and Notes from the 12/13 WO
strummer replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, we know JBL is going over Sunday for sure. I bet he holds on to the belt until Mania, Vince loves this guy, LOVES HIM The ECW PPV deal will never be approved by Steph. I'm suprised Vince seemed for it airing. Great stuff HTQ -
If you read Meltzer's update today, he sounded PISSED about something. He takes a couple of blatant cheap shots at HHH and Vince, for really no reason either. Whatever the family emergency was, you can tell it is really bothering him

It's official, Al Leiter is a Marlin http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/transactions http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/...s_fla&fext=.jsp

You know the Diamondbacks will eventually give in and trade Johnson to the Yankees. If by some miracle that doesn't happen, it could be a real interesting year in the Bronx.
-
Al, I think the link is fixed. Wright is a Yankee.
-
The Yankees sign Jaret Wright http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...6-2004Dec7.html Mets resign Mike DeJean, but won't resign Richard Hidalgo. So the Mets will be in the market for an outfielder, probably Alou

is that Jeremy Irons?
-
and the 49ers are really the ONLY team in the NFC who has no shot of making the playoffs
-
Slaughter was about to become a JTTS. He still had some credibility at that point, but it was fading fast. I would put him in the "good shot" category
-
Oh God, I get this feeling Dallas is going to make the Playoffs in the NFC. That was a TERRIBLE loss for Seattle
-
This Monday Night game is insane, 43-39 Dallas with 30 seconds to go. Dallas was down 10 points with under 2 minutes to go and are going to win
-
The real reason they did the upheld angle in 88 was because Hogan had to have time off to film No Holds Barred. Who knows how long he would have held onto the belt otherwise. The late 91/Early 92 Vacancy angle was great, because there were about 5 or 6 guys who had a legit shot at being champion
-
Whatever happens, HHH will wind up with the belt again. He has to have it by the Rumble to job it to Orton at WM
